Fromagerie Mirabel has less selection compared to other specialty cheese stores I've found in the Montreal area, such as "Fromagerie des nations". To be honest, even some of the nicer IGA or Provigo supermarkets carry a wider selection of cheeses. Go if you want fresh St-Albert's cheese, otherwise this shop might be disappointing, especially if you drove out of the way to visit.

At the Fromagerie's cheese shop, although their little restaurant was closed, they sold sandwiches and coffee in addition to a number of gourmet local products, which included (of course) their cheese curd for making that Québécois specialty poutine. If you do order something to eat or drink, there's both indoor and outdoor seating with a view of the Ottawa River.
