On instagram we saw beautiful farmland and huge yurt like tents as cabanas with the layouts described on the website. The website not having any photos should've been the first red flag. After making an over 2 hour drive from Orlando we are greeted by someone who had clearly already had a long day, asking us to sign waivers. We ask when the pizza will be served because we are incredibly hungry and it was going to be a hot day. They tell us after 1pm because the pizza comes from this amazing pizza place. We are told where the bathroom is and then led to our cabana. What a HUGE disappointment. It's a tailgating canopy with 8 seats and 2 blow up chairs even though it's advertised to sit 12. We were expecting an enclosed private space but we were just in a line of 5 other canopies the exact same size and decor. The only difference was the number of seats. We got to feed baby cows and they took Polaroids of the experience. That was pretty cool. We then got to feed animals and hold baby goats. That was awesome. Around 1:20pm the super Awsome pizza arrived. 2 dominos pizzas. Was this a joke? Dominos??? The pizza was cold and one of them tasted off. 5 minutes after we got the pizza we were asked if everything was okay and I said no, it's cold and it's dominos. The attendant stated that they got dominos because WE said we were hungry. And that they knew for a fact the pizza was hot because it was so hot on their arms. I was taken aback at the rudeness. The attendants then went to a different party cabana and spent most of their time there drinking alcohol with those guests and ignoring us. No one even wished me a happy birthday. What was supposed to be a full 11-5 day, we left at 2:30 it was so bad. I really hope Cowabunga refunds my mom her money. At least half if not more. DO NOT TRAVEL FAR FOR THIS "EXPERIENCE". Literally a minute past that on your right you will see the red brick entrance about 3ft tall on each side. The guest entrance sign should be on the outside of the brick. It was a little hard to find at first. Wouldn't recommend bringing children under 5 just because you end up watching your kids more than you do enjoying the experience. Would also recommend going during the cooler seasons of the year. Went in May and it felt like 100 degrees out! Brenda knows her stuff - she's the owner. Place was super beautiful! As much as our granddaughters wanted to hug and snuggle them, they are just not that kind of animal. Brenda has trained some that you can pet on their neck or shoulders and they will eat from your hand. She will set you up with some chow and a lesson on how to feed and what to expect. Tours are early when the Alpaca are hungry and cool. The gift shoppe is wonderful. Something for everyone with great gifts for all seasons. This is not only for kids. We practiced social distancing from other groups and the baskets used to pick the berries are sanitized after each use. This family owned farm is located north of Tampa (kind of in the middle of nowhere, but the scenic drive and the amazing experience is worth it) in Brooksville, Florida. They truly are open "rain or shine" and one of the owners did not hesitate to offer us an umbrella (as we only had one for the three of us) to use while we picked blackberries. My mom had more fun taking pictures while my fiance and I had fun finding the "perfect" (turns out that I'm "berry" picky) blackberries. Bramble Creek's blackberries are the thornless variety so even when we are going through bunches of plants, we didn't get hurt. We were instructed to only pick the completely black berries, but to see the red and then half-red/half-black berries was a treat in itself since I'd never even seen a blackberry plant before. Blackberry season is winding down, but we definitely plan to return next year!

I have been following them on Facebook, and was so excited to learn about them selling their passion fruit. As soon as I found out they were ready, I had to go. I called the farm and messaged them through Facebook. Passion fruit is available for pick up on Wednesday's between 4-6, and Saturday mornings. You park and make your way to their fields which are their blackberry fields. Right by the parking is actually the passion fruit vines. Once walking by the blackberry fields, You will see a shed where they are stationed. Inside you will find different types of sauces for sale, blackberry jam, and currently their bins in different growth cycles of their passion fruit. Passion fruit are 1.50 each. I bought 15. Passion fruit are ready when they are darker purple and are shriveled up like prunes. I love passion fruit anything and it's hard to find. So happy to come across this local gem!

The loquat is actually a fruit from China or Japan. The Chinese call it Pee Par. They not require too much of care due to the rich soil near central west Florida. It need occasion watering to produce the fruit of the tree. There are several scientific researches looking for the cure of disease or cancel. The fruit is sweet on the tree it turn to golden. If it is green and you plug it from the tree it won't turn sweet like papaya. The local have several recipes for Jam, Pie, and Pastry. Today we have tried the limited edition pastry. Luckily we are early and we have the chance to buy one from the vender for $2.50. The people behind us do not have the chance like the early bird like me and Nick. There are improvement can be made to bridge more crowd and attention. Such as contact some food truck, artist tent, pie competition that makes the venue more fun. Cornfusion. That's why we recently went to the Smith Ranch. I know they have other services…read more(weddings, etc), but my experience is based on Cornfusion, just so you know. We went as a part of a large group for a homeschool field trip. It's a farm so expect long bumpy dirt roads and be aware of where you put your feet. Again, it's a working farm. This really cute guy will greet you right away; he's got golden hair and the sweetest smile! His legs are often covered in mud, depicting what fun he has on the farm, but he probably won't jump on you. And his floppy ears and droopy cheeks just make me want to squeeze him. Do keep an eye out for him when parking your car. If you do the hayride, you'll see him again working as a ranch hand, corralling the cattle alongside the tractor, forever wagging that tail of his. As far as activities go, there are quite a few for some fall fun... as "fall" as Florida gets. There's a kiddie area with a fire truck to play on, swings, eats, pony rides (I think; it wasn't operational when we went), tractor train ride, and more. Elsewhere, there's a pumpkin patch, Duck Race (rubber ducks), photo ops, a giant bounce pillow (it's like a bounce house except it's a big ol' pillow), giant tubes like hamster balls to roll in, cornhole and our kid's favorite, the corn box! It's like a bi sand box except instead of sand, it's filled with dried corn. Who knew that could be so much fun?! The hayride takes you out through the farm in a trailer that happens to be partially covered; that was nice for us since it rained a bit. They provide food for feeding the cows, too. If you go at night, they have Zombie Paintball; you ride the hayride and shoot zombies. Sounds fun! Don't forget the corn maze! It's was a nice, quick trip through but I think we didn't go very deep. I'm sure there's more to it than what we did. We enjoyed ourselves and our kid was wiped out! The Smith family are awesome people so if you happen to have any questions or issues, let them know. Things to know: restrooms are PortOPotties and they do have handicap accessible ones. The food station DOES take cash or card. You'll be picking corn out of your clothes all day if you use the corn box, but it's worth it. It's pretty "stroller friendly" but it is still over grass. Just have fun! And give that cute guy some ear scratches when he says "hello!"

Out in practically the middle of no where you'll find the Smith Family Ranch. I've heard in the…read morefall, they host corn mazes, zombie paintball hayrides and concerts hosted in the barn. On this occasion we were here to celebrate a wedding. When you arrive you'll drive down a long dirt driveway, there isn't any gravel area so prepare to park on the lawn. The wedding ceremony was being held in a field and the reception was in the barn. It was a perfect country style wedding if that's you're thing. You know what's not my thing? Cow patties everywhere! From right outside my car door to the actual wedding aisle! I was surprised that even though the ceremony was held in a small field, the aisle wasn't even cleaned up for the bride. Walking up to the ceremony space we walked through a gate except they were doing construction on the ground; so there were large exposed pipes sitting in the ground covering a deep hole. In order to walk across, they put a small piece of plywood all the way over to one side and a traffic cone. It was definitely a safety hazard with so many kids running around and at night it was the only area with a light. Thankfully I had my phone flashlight to keep an eye on the ground as we walked back to the car. The barn was beautifully decorated with lots of twinkle lights and a stage for the bride and groom to sit. There were bathrooms in the barn as well but one was out of paper towels the entire time. Another room in the barn was reserved for the groomsmen to get ready. What I really liked was they lifted garage style doors on the side that had hid the kitchen. Once the doors were lifted you could get in line to be served by the caterers. It was definitely a unique place for a wedding but there were a few cosmetic things I would have changed and there's no good way to hide from wind or rain.
