What a fun, quirky store! Hard to miss when driving on NE Alberta with the rainbow painted sidewalk, aqua blue house with colorful lantern lights decorating the pagoda. Oh, and the bright turquoise bicycle bike rack out front! All this going on before you walk up the steps and into the store! This store is mesmerizing! Packed with a huge variety of gift items, some random, some common, either way give yourself time to take it all in! Scented soaps, socks with funny sayings, kids clothing, whimsical cell phone cases, cards, scarves, totes, t-shirts and more. Laughing out loud is common and encouraged! As the name suggests, they have a surprisingly large variety of women's clothing in all sizes and seems to be a combo of local designers and name brands, like Desiguel (one of my faves.) I particularly loved the maxi dresses! So colorful and vibrant. They also have shoes and accessories making it easy to style an entire outfit. Of course they also have the whimsical pieces like clothing adorned with cats or unicorns if that's your thing. It's challenging to leave empty handed even if you walk in without any specific purpose. It's just that kind of store! Easy to find gifts for anyone in your list or for yourself. Right now during Pandemic, they are using all the precautions - hand sanitizer, masks, limiting customers - and having an incredible sale!!! Staff was super friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back, maybe even today!

This is my favorite store in all of Portland! They have such a fun and well curated selection of jewelry, clothes, and other fun stuff. As a tall curvy girl I also really appreciate their size range. They carry fun brands, some of which I've never seen in person before (like Nooworks).

I was driving past this place to get to where I was actually going and I pulled over. That's how amazing it looked, and it was exactly that amazing. It is the most gorgeous colorful little place with a great mix of price points and just dreamy stuff. I'm almost glad I don't live in this town so I can't my blow my life's savings here... almost.

They do free gift wrapping. Score!

I was approaching the end of my travels to Portland and with it came a growing need to take a souvenir home. I checked out the Alberta Arts District and discovered Frock boutique. When describing the shop, two words come to mind. Cute and offbeat, much like the rest of Portland. Their fashion forward collection carries styles right up my alley. Most of the brands they offer are mix of local and international lines. They're a one stop shop for women's clothes, shoes, makeup, and accessories. Additionally, they stock small housewares, bath soaps, and baby apparel. As I was browsing through the racks, a cat tee shirt caught my eye and pulled on my heart strings. I am a fond lover of cats and a proud guardian of one! The kind sales lady behind the counter noticed my interest in the tee and opened up a changing room. I tried it on and it fit perfectly. I appreciate Frock's ability to supply a range of sizes suitable for all body types. I'm 5'3 and it's difficult to find clothes that fit right. I didn't find that an issue here. The prices are expensive but the quality of the material is worth the cost. If you're willing to binge on chic and unique clothes, visit Frock.

Frock knocked my socks off. Shopping for a baby shower puts me totally out of my element. Thank God for registries. And onesies. A Yelp thread and a recommendation on there by Lori F. saved me. That's how I found Frock. I sort of had the idea that Frock would be a baby store but nope, there is super cute, one-of-a-kind grown up stuff too. I spent quite a while pawing through lots of really unique jewelry, hair accessories and cute clothes. There is of course a nice little section for babies. That's where I found two tiny tees. My pal is having twin girls. These lovely little tees are fortune telling tees that are all wrapped up like a fortune cookie with the child's future contained within. Even I don't even know what I bought. Am I responsible for how these children turn out because I bought the shirts? Am I just the oracle? I'm pretty sure Elizabeth isn't superstitious.

What the Frock!? Just kidding, I just like saying that every time I see this place. I love coming here for gift ideas and perusing their funky and fun clothing. They have outrageous outfits, eco-friendly clothing and a large variety of sizes! I think it's mostly clothing for women but by all means, men should check it out too! If you want to see a really fun Portland boutique with reasonable prices then this is your place. Their clothing options and accessories are always changing and there is so much cute and fun stuff to look at even though the store is a little small. They recently expanded and have two shops side by side. One is more clothing based with accessories and the other has tons of gifts and themed items like unicorn mugs, funny bird magnets, cards, Bill Murray pillows, David Bowie books and so much more! Thanks for keeping Portland fun and fresh, Frock!

What the Frock? I feel like I'm the Little Mermaid...singing my queries about how many wonders one cavern can hold... (too much??) because Frock was simply amazing. Stephy S went into instant deal-radar mode and scoped out an amazing jacket, I of course went towards the jewels (Look Laura, something shiny!) and ended up with some bling for dang near every body part. The shop is very small but packs quite a punch - you can find anything from local print tees to headbands and handbags. The price range varies, but as you can read from Stephy's review...there are deal waiting on every hanger.

This place was super cute! We got this cute cat paw. Everything was 25% when we went. The service was awesome. Good place to go for random, yet thoughtful gifts.

These shoes flash with the click of a button as well!

Cutest store ever! Hard not to have a gay ole time perusing the adorable knick knacks and colorful creations in Frock boutique. A must visit while in Alberta district. Incredible music too. Have fun!

I have never seen anything like it and genuinely, if your are like me and like to keep a pear, a few apples and an orange on hand but want them to last - this is not only amazing looking but perfect!! I did purchase a few smaller items. The first was a felt coaster which is so perfect! They have an array of different colors - my choice was a gorgeous burgundy and I loved being able to buy just one. I have coasters for guests which is a whole set but for my daily iced drink covered in condensation, this is so perfect. The card says they are made in Germany by a company called Parkhaus and how to care for and clean the coaster. The other item was a greeting card which I intend to frame. Vancouver Washington artist Claudia Moore makes the cards with foraged leaves and seeds. This is a great spot if you are looking for something unique as a gift or for your home. They also have some very nice cleaning solutions and bath products. There is a well thought, small selection of purses and bags.

Clothing is high quality and so expect the price tag to reflect that. They also sell accessories like affordable jewelry from local artisans, unique scarves, shoes/boots/sandals and even an assortment of wonderful hand reams and candles that smell so good! The other day I had to buy a pitchuli scented candle because it reminded me of my youth! Like any store, some of the clothing works for me and some doesn't. We all have to know our own bodies and what fits best. What I like about adorn most is that they have a variety of styles because they know women's bodies come in a variety of shapes! I try to stop in several times a year to see what's new, when I need a special outfit or a gift for a friend. This week I bought a pair of Mia slides that are waterproof, perfect for after my swims, and they have a Birkenstock footbed making them super comfortable with support for my feet. Love them! Just $30 and in a very on trend rose gold color with white buckles. Wore them to the pool the next day and a little girl complimented me! Too cute. My only complaint is that the store is so packed with items that when trying on shoes, there was nowhere to put the boxes while trying them on in front of the mirror. A sales clerk ended up vclearing off a stool so I could place my potential shoes there as I tried on different sizes and styles. They have several locations (downtown, SE Clinton) and it's worth visiting them all!

The prices are in the high side, especially for Portland, but a cashmere cardigan for $400 is the going rate. The boutique is bright, clean and has an industrial vibe. It's easy to browse through the racks of clothing which line the parameter on racks in a color coordinated fashion. The cashmere dresses are scrumptious! Beautiful in color, texture and style; refined elegance, classic, timeless. Even cashmere loungewear, perfect for staying comfy and warm during these long days spent at home. Kayla, the young woman working that day, was super helpful and pleasant. She easily engages in conversation and provides assistance, if that is your mode of shopping. And also gives one the freedom to browse at their leisure with no pressure to purchase, which is my preference. We visited on MLK Day and were there specifically to see what Oliveve handbags were available since I had recently come across this brand while shopping at the House of Lolo in Palm Desert. Kayla immediately recognized my Jasper bag! The Oliveve bags have a modern design, clean lines, and my bag is made of neutral colored pebbled leather. It's the perfect bag to use while shopping as it is a cross body style yet as large as a tote and holds a lot. That day there was only one Olivevebag available, a black handbag with tan wrapped handles, and my friend immediately claimed it! I'll have to go online (Oliveve.com) to buy my next one, the black oiled Italian leather Eva bag, which I've had my eye on for a few months. In addition to the clothing, they have a small selection of unique jewelry and other accessories like boots, tassels to add to your handbags, hats, belts and scarves. Even a small but unique selection of home decor items like textured throws, pillows, candles, woven baskets and trays, perfume and vases.p to adorn your home. Located on NW 11th in The Pearl District, it's around the corner from the main shopping area so unless you know it's there, you may not stumble upon it. It's worth seeking out if you want to add quality clothing to your wardrobe that you can wear season after season. And while you are there, definitely check out the jewelry, boots and the Oliveve handbags!

There really is not that much to choose from as the theme here is obviously minimalist. The few things they do have are lovely and for me, priced completely unreasonably. Like I am going to spend almost $1000 on a wool trench coat with some leather trim? Sure, it's a sharp looking coat. But good God, I know we are in the Pearl but is anyone going to spend that much? Maybe I am just not hip with the times and people really do spend that kind of money on a random coat, if so, I beg your pardon. It would be cool if your shop had goods that "normal" people like me, I know I am throwing the term normal around quite loosely but folks probably get my gist. My budget for a really nice and very unique coat is more like $500.00 Unless you are selling Versace or something, consider rethinking your price points.
