As a veteran lupus warrior, my life revolves around doctors, and I have to say that Guilda Sarraf…read moreis one of the most stellar doctors I have ever known-ever, for several years now. She even catches a whole lot of things that the other specialists overlook, constantly. I know how ponderous and cumbersome reading reviews can get, but please know that Dr. Sarraf is the real deal. Her knowledge is fantastic and she knows how to relate her cardiology profession to the other interdisciplinary professions, thereby helping alleviate my symptoms. Since lupus attacks everything, this is incumbent. As a most recent example, she caught something that a primary care physician did wrong. PCP said my cholesterol was 'high', but Dr Sarraf said to completely disregard the lab values because the doctor "forgot" to have me fasting before drawing the labs. Simple things like that so many professionals carelessly miss! But not Dr. Sarraf! For once, at least I know I can relax a little knowing that this doctor will take care of me, not to mention her level of professionalism. Dr. Sarraf can be away on vacation, but she will still call me back the same day, and oftentimes right away! She is exceedingly accommodating, at the very least. I recommend Dr. Sarraf with no reservation. Keep up the great work! *Important: Regarding the online presence: Thankfully Dr Sarraf is excluded from this but regarding other offices, you must beware and take heed: **Review sites and doctors corroborate together to silence the consumer even more: When doctors pay Healthgrades, Vitals, etc. for a premium subscription, or just give them money in general, bribes, etc., as usual and as one example, they allow for doctors to hide 3 or more reviews that they arbitrarily dislike. Again, this is just one unethical tactic out of many they use. As a result, I truly applaud all those consumers who muster up the courage to write a review that is both truthful and that addresses the concerns of that doctor and its facility. There is always at least some validity in the negative reviews that are getting pummeled by bribes and bots and solicitations to get more positive reviews. Telling the truth is harder than choosing the path of least resistance and 'going with the flow'. Make no mistake about it, these providers are very savvy, so do not fall for all their deceitfulness. (Again, Dr. Sarraf excluded from here). Be wise and notice the slew of positive reviews- because they are being solicited constantly during and after appointments, to write five stars and people want to be welcomed into their office and would rather not voice the truths. In summary, I recommend Dr. Sarraf with no reservation. But please scrutinize other offices. Keep up the great work!

I am a current patient and I just need to schedule an appointment to do a checkup, though my insurance just changed so they need to call to make sure of my eligibility. It is totally fine with me. Mind you I called on Wednesday, they said they will call me back on Friday. I called this morning on a Friday, she (the rude receptionist )told me they need time to call the insurance company which is fine with me. I asked when they can give me the answer, she brushed me off and told me when they have time, they will call. I asked so is it in a week, a month or a year, she brushed me off with again"whenever we have time, we will call".. they don't even care if you are a current patient or not, and they don't care if you would go to another office. WHAT KINF OF doctor service has this office become. The whole front desk staff needs to go to do serious customer service trainings. And i just realized that all bad reviews about this place are all about front desk issues. I hope DR. TUNG HỦY NGUYÊN has a chance to see and read all the reviews about his office. He definitely needs some serious talk to his staff about servicing. In the end, patient are his business.

Discompassionate and aggressive JERK!…read more FV hospital assigned this doctor to me but in the beginning I mostly interacted with his practitioners. On my first ever meeting with Dr. Harpreet, he walked in the room, I greeted him and got a grumpy response. We started of talking about an obvious side effects that I was having from a medication, then for whatever reason he became agitated and very aggressive towards me when I said it was causing the issue. He blamed it twice LOUDLY on another drug for which I explained to him that I was not taking and was discontinued weeks ago. Things went very sour after that interaction. I felt like he just wanted me out of there. He would not allow me to talk or ask questions and became very aggressive, obnoxious towards me... he threw an infantile fit. Then he went out and brought in his PA to write a prescription for a medication which was documented that I cannot take. When I went to ask him about it, he said "I don't want to hear it" and stormed out the room. Oh great, I thought to myself... a doctor who doesn't want to talk. I just let him be in his little ego tripping world. Out of courtesy for the PA, I decided to just keep my mouth shut and leave. I wish I had never come to the follow-up appointment. I was very shocked and wondered how the hell someone like him became a doctor.

Tests were done and when my first results were in I wasn't really told anything coherent about the results. Doctor seemed concerned so he put me on medication and even asked if I wanted to have kids and how I would have to go off the meds to do so. Visits were always the same. No real info just, looks at the chart same questions as before, and see you next month. On my last visit I had been to the emergency room two weeks prior. I was asked how I was doing and I responded that I wasn't doing ok that I was not improving that the meds had not made me improve. I went in already feeling depressed because I can't do anything without suffocating, and feeling like my heart was gonna pop out of my chest with any slight activity. It has affected my life In general and my work. I was explaining to him when it started happening and how it affected my life (in hopes I'd get some sort of guidance or answers) he said "So what do you want me to do about it." He was really mean and unsympathetic. I cried because I was already feeling hopeless. He said "everything came out fine, results came out fine ect get your primary provider to check your lungs" If everything was fine why was he so concerned before and put me on medication? If he thought it was something else why not suggest to get my lungs checked a long time ago? I just cried and he walked out. One of the receptionist was also unsympathetic. I was crying while waiting for my next appointment and she just said "excuse me can you move away people are coming through here" I left and I thought of killing myself. I stayed in the parking lot and wanted to kill myself. I called my friend and she calmed me down but if she hadn't something tragic would've happened. Because I lost control of my life with my health condition and a doctor who's supposed to help me or at least point me in the right direction just didn't seem to care and wanted to move on to the next patient. I will never come back here.
