You can also find pizza and other various European food. What I really like there is the very easy going atmosphere and the people working there. They're always very nice and the service is pretty fast. Sitting outside in summer is very enjoyable, the merowingerstrasse is pretty quiet. If you sit inside, the area at the bar is a smoking area but the majority of the tables are in a smoke free zone.

Apparently, behind my chair was the main entry route for staff to the second row of tables. With every course, the waiter bumped into my chair. After the third time, I politely asked him to stop. I got a snotty response, he had to serve his guests after all. Logical, but then the tables and chairs have to be set up in such a way that the staff can get to the tables without disturbing the guests. Or the staff have to go round the outside to reach the second row. In this way, however, as many tables as possible are set up to maximize turnover. The well-being of the guests is completely irrelevant. This is simply an outrageous rip-off. After this interlude, we were still waiting for our food after the drinks had been brought by another waiter, I sat down comfortably on my chair and crossed my legs, a perfectly normal sitting position. The very unpleasant young waiter then had the audacity to order me to sit down properly. We then ordered the drinks bill and left. There was neither an apology for the jostling at the chair nor even the slightest feeling that a host was making an effort to make his guests feel comfortable. It can always happen that the wrong tone is struck, then you apologise and make an effort to make your guests feel comfortable. There was absolutely no sign of this.
