We encountered, from the get go, the sticker on the shelf was incorrect, staff that was not knowledgable about how much the military discount was and an extremely rude and abrasive manager (Jonathan) who ended up calling the cops on me! After we were ready to check out, I noticed one of the employees was typing in info from our military ID into their computer. When I asked, they said they were taking our name and ID number down. We said we thought that information should not be stored, and proceeded to try and research on our phones. We offered for them to take our Driver's license number instead. I asked to speak to the manager and Jonathan came out and immediately was being condescending, overbearing, not willing to listen. All he kept saying was "corporate" says they need the info and we can't get the discount without them entering the info in their system. I asked to speak to corporate and was given the number. ( I have yet to be able to speak to a knowledgeable person at corporate as they haven't returned my calls.) At one point, I walked out the store and then returned because I wanted to show Jonathan something I found on my phone from the military One Source website. He was still being a bit loud and threatening, abrasive and rude. I asked him to "tone it down". ( He was twice my size and I am a woman). At that instant, he immediately started SHOUTING, "Get out of my store"! I told him "why, I hadn't done anything wrong." He proceeded to shout "get out of my store, I'm not going to sell you anything." He told his staff to not sell me anything and then told me he was going to call the cops because I was trespassing. Well, wouldn't you know, he kept his word. After the officer arrived, I was told that the moment I was asked to leave I should have. I was stunned, to say the least. Parker has a sign in their store touting how great their customer service is...I have yet to see it. I will never return to this store unless they hire better staff with Excellent Customer Service. By the way, we went down the street to Ace hardware and bought the item we needed there.

They had a good variety of chicks but we did decide to buy online through them because they had more options. But if your looking to get under 10 chicks in person is a great option as well but will have less of a selection depending on what ur looking for (breed, color, gender specific). It was a fun experience.
