I live in DC now and plan my trips home around when I need to get my roots done/hair trimmed so I can come to Panache. I've been to three different stylists and all are amazing. I don't think going to one of the salons in DC I would get higher quality work. I called on Tuesday wanting an appointment on Saturday for partial highlights, trim, and bikini wax and they were able to get me in. Last time I went in was on a weekday and didn't have enough change for the meter and the stylist got some change for me and put it in the meter for me. I've never had any problems with the front desk staff, they are always friendly and offer me a drink when I come in.

I had the girl redo them 4/5 times and…read moreI showed a picture of how I want the tips to look & eventually just gave up because I felt bad and couldn't be there that long. Why is a simple French tip so hard to get right? These are basically a straight line which is not what I asked for and definitely doesn't need 5 tries to do. I want a crisp, clean, curved French tip- I don't think that's too much to ask. Please practice your craft!! I just want to leave a salon happy one day. I'm so glad I had a gift card because I'm so over paying good money for non satisfactory work

I am very disappointed to say the least. I am getting married this August and a friend referred me…read moreto John David salon because she had used them on her wedding day. I eagerly looked up their website where they very nicely advertise wedding packages both in house and available to travel. I called to get general information. I left my name, number and some general information with John the owner and he said they would get back to me the following day. I never heard back. About 1.5 months went by and I decided to try again. I spoke with someone and told them I had previously called but never got a return call. She apologized and said I would here from them By the end of the day. That was 2 months ago now, and I still have yet to hear from them. I have moved on and selected another salon in the area that returned my call 1 hour after inquiring and felt the need to appologize that "it took so long to return my call." that is how you do business and treat a potential client, NOT the way John David Salon did it. I hope this does not happen to anyone else simply because planning a wedding takes a lot of time and you shouldn't have to stress over someone not taking your potential future business seriously.
