From the moment he walked in to meet & greet me, he was cold, disrespectful and unwelcoming. I was startled. I treat everyone with kindness and respect, unless given good reason not to. But Luis Moya was so discourteous, I got up from the dental chair and walked out of his office. Never before have I felt this way during my time with any medical or dental professional. But I'm actually glad this happened during my negative initial experience with Luis Moya, and didn't allow him to provide any services that require billing my insurance. Because it led me to finding an amazing new Dentist & office in Rancho Mirage for an exam & cleaning -- without having to drive in to LA again, to see my dentist of 20 years. The 1-star default is for the comfortable lobby/waiting area, the wonderful lovely lady at the reception desk, and the friendly tech I had a nice conversation with, prior to my unforgettable encounter with Luis Moya.

I complained about a toothache in August of 2025. I was told I had a sinus infection and sent on my way with antibiotics. He also mentioned 2 small cavities that could wait until my next cleaning. The toothache persisted. I went to another dentist in October. Turns out that the tooth was so decayed that it had to be pulled. I need an implant where the tooth was removed. In addition, I had 5 other cavities and needed a crown. It amazes me that none of these things were detected by Dr. Moya. So now I'm into significant work at significant cost even with insurance. My real rating would be negative stars.
