On Monday I left my phone on the 918 Hartford to Willimantic bus. I called and left a message because you can't talk to a human...especially at a company such as PP Bus Lines because they know they have horrible customer service and are tired of people bitching at them. 6 phone calls and three emails later over the course of the last 5 days and they don't even have the decency to return and or acknowledge I've called or emailed. Not surprised at all they have a 1.9 out of 10 score and I hope my review brings it down to 1.8. CT Transit should consider finding another company that maybe would treat there riders better.

(while they are beautiful islands) was not what we expected because of last minute itinerary changes that lead to excessive time on the bus. The hotels initially stated in itinerary were downgraded so much that our last hotel had NOTHING around it. On the bus again for 2 nights to go to dinner. We have taken many trips over the years and we are flexible with changes that have to occur however this last minute changes were unacceptable and we were never notified prior to the trip. They did not respond well to our concerns and took no responsibility for any of the issue we faced.

At 8:58 p.m. the evening before our departure, we received an email telling us that a major portion of the itinerary had changed. The CAT ferry and overnight stay in Yarmouth had been eliminated. The original plan would have given us time to explore Bar Harbor before boarding the CAT ferry, followed by an overnight stay in Yarmouth to rest before continuing on to Halifax the next day. Instead, we faced an exhausting 11-hour day on the bus, eventually arriving in Halifax. Hopewell Rocks was added to the schedule, but the timing was poorly planned, and because the time change was not properly taken into consideration, we missed the tide change there. Unfortunately, that experience reflected how much of the rest of the trip felt. There was simply too much time spent traveling and not enough time enjoying the places we had come to see. Stops often felt rushed, and by the end, it seemed as though we had spent more of our vacation sitting on a bus and in hotel rooms than actually experiencing Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. We were also disappointed by some of the accommodations. One hotel was so isolated from town that we had to use the bus simply to go out for dinner. Some of the hotels did not feel consistent with what we believed had been advertised. The motorcoach itself was also disappointing, It was old and did not have a working dvd player. With only 13 people on our tour, we were left feeling that several important parts of the trip had clearly been scaled down. The ferry was eliminated, we spent far more time traveling by bus, and some of the hotels were below the standard we expected. The overnight stay in Yarmouth would have provided a welcome break and time to rest during the journey, but instead, we were given an extra night in Halifax. That did not make up for losing the more relaxed and thoughtfully paced itinerary we had originally booked. We contacted the company afterward and explained our concerns, hoping they would acknowledge how significantly the trip differed from what we expected. Instead, we were offered a voucher toward another trip. Given our experience, that was not meaningful compensation because we have no interest in traveling with the company again. This tour was supposed to be a memorable vacation exploring Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. Instead, we came home feeling disappointed that so much of our time had been spent getting from place to place rather than enjoying the destinations themselves. We would not choose Tours of Distinction again and would not recommend them based on our experience.

You never know what to expect with transportation for a wedding but this team has it down to a science. We booked two 55 person Coach busses for our wedding and one for our rehearsal dinner. Several incompetent drivers cut him off because THEY waited to the last moment to merge into the right traveling lane. With his excellent driving skills the rest of the passengers never even knew what was happening. His use of the GPS rerouted us a few times to avoid traffic jams that could be seen extending off to the horizon; getting us to and from the casino on time. There were even entertainment on the bus, enhancing the ride. And the bathroom was clean and smelled pleasant.

The bus was clean and comfortable to ride. However, the isle was a bit narrow and it may have been difficult for some handicap passengers to get to and from their seats even though they say in the front rows. Overall the bus trip was very clean and comfortable. The dinner at the Log Cabin is another matter, it was not that good!

I also forgot my purse on the bus and didn't realize it (It was a small travel purse that I kept inside a larger bag when I was on the bus), until I got a call from them asking if I left it on the bus. Toilet paper stuck in the flush tube so no one wanted to use it in case it flooded. No plugs for phones. Narrow seats and aisles. A school bus would have been a nicer ride. Driver never stopped at a rest area so 40 seniors had to hold it for 4 hours because they were afraid to use the toilet, then couldn't use it on the return trip either. Terrible bus made the trip horrible.
