Just across the street from the station, this is the obvious place to meet the people who come to pick you up or wait for the next train followign the one you just missed. The building is quite old, but the interior dates from the eighties I would say: a large print of the station square from the fifties (when it looked even 10 times uglier than today), a non-descript bar, tables with groups of students or friends meeting for a drink. This place still allows smoking - I think I'll never figure out the Belgian smoking laws, and offers snacks and food until 21.30. Actually, not too bad, just not much character.
