I'm understanding why this place is going under fast. every time I come there is an issue. Tonight they bring us out 2 wrong meals... I'm pretty sure after I touched it to check my burger they brought it to another table. But also gave that table a wrong meal as well.... I wouldn't mind. But between raynham and Middleboro I have it had a good experience in 2years.. it's so sad, we used to love Friendly's.... I writing this at the table It's been an hour since we came in. Why am I still here???? There are only 9 tables full here (2 people all but 1 of those tables). Let's make that eight tables full... One couple just stormed out without ordering (after a long wait ). The waiter was exited that these people who left without being served left a four dollar tip... I think they were just paying for the drinks you dumbass... Hour and 15 minutes into this " dinning experience" And they just brought out the food again... mine is wrong again !!!! Wtf How hard is it to make a plain burger with just with cheese on it? Soooo done! Can this location be moved to replace the Friendly's near my home? My husband and I could not believe how quick the service was here and the food was delicious. Our waitress was attentive, refilling our sodas, and bringing food quickly - despite it being a weekend lunch rush. I highly recommend stopping for food at this Friendly's after a morning at the Flea Market across the street. The mini mozzarella sticks alone are tasty enough to deserve a visit. read more

Typical Friendly's that I haven't been to in years. Place was clean and convenient to hotel we were staying at. Waitress accommodated me as I wanted lunch even though only 10:45am but she said she would talk to cook which she did. Food was pretty good and service was good but what ruined the entire meal was the conversation our waitress was having with the people at the booth right behind us. She obviously knew them so the conversation made sense but not in a restaurant where people are eating UGH!!! First she started telling them how she had to miss work because her son had ringworm and the doctor told her yesterday it was back.., ok so that grossed us all out although just about done our meal at this point. Then she took their order and came back with their drinks and said she would be leaving early as her daughters school called and she was vomiting and puked all over herself! I have had it with this place. You can get better service at the local gas stations. I have stopped going here and had to start using the do it yourself milkshake machine at the corner stores. We had a party of 8 tonight! They couldn't handle it- clearly!! We arrived just before 6pm. Took a while to be seated. Finally seated, our first waitress was very nice however a few others took over our table. We didn't really know who our waitress was - which wouldn't matter if there were no issues BUT, to get our dribbles took AT LEAST 45 minutes, one child's cup was leaking, a coke order was given a Diet Coke, one child ordered fries she never got but was charged for. The food took way too long and our final waitress was overall rude. She approached our table with "you guys are ok right?" After no attention on our table for about an hour. Maybe because it seemed all waitresses were helping eachother? They assumed we were all set?. When replied "no we are not ok" the attitude in response was great. We were waiting for at least an hour JUST TO ORDER ICE CREAM! In the end, our 6 children at the table left without ice cream. (Which comes included with their meal!) AND when I brought the fries up that we were charged for I was told "we can make them for you or to take them off the bill I'll have to run the card again". After being there for over 2 hours without even having ice cream- were we really going to wait for fries? This was above all, the worst restaurant experience ever! Then! We try to use the kiosk to pay, not working. Ask for a receipt after telling them we will pay on one bill and we will figure it out amongst ourselves after- she gives us the credit card receipt and not an itemized receipt! Perhaps the worst place on earth for getting ice cream. I'm not sure why we go back here to get ice cream .Probably because there is nothing else around and open this time of year. To me a 15 minute wait does not mean 45. Tables are always dirty and not cleaned which is a sign of being understaffed. While we were there waiting one employee just walked out the door. Not sure if she quit or was done with her shift as she was giving direction to employees and at the hostess stand then she was gone. Next time we will go down the street to the supermarket and buy the ingredients for a sundae. Not only will we save some money it will also be cleaner,quicker and convenient . I don't usually go to this location but this is more centrally located for the other people I was meeting (in comparison to the Middleboro location) so it was whatever. We only went to the takeout window for ice cream. There was one girl talking to a group of people while making them a sundae about how she "hates working in this dump" and how she "should have her hat on but doesn't give a f***" so that set the mood already pretty nicely. This sweet kid came up and asked if we were ready to order (I couldn't get his name, I believe it started with a B) and took one persons order (we were a party of 4, with 3 separate bills) and obviously didn't mind going one at a time, we were in no rush and wanted to all get Fribbles. This other woman comes up to the ice cream counter and she's not in uniform, has long hair completely down. It is NOT pulled back nor is it in a hat or hair net and starts making fun "B" telling him he sucks and doesn't know what he's doing. Meanwhile he's finishing making one Fribble and also cleaning the counter, putting away the milk that was left on the counter and making sure that the whipped cream was back on ice. He finished that Fribble and gives it to my friend and they tell him to go into the back and then both women started helping other customers. We just stood there shocked because 3 of us HADN'T EVEN ORDERED YET! The girl who was bad mouthing her place of employment must of seen my shocked face and asked if we were taken care of and I said no. She made our 3 Fribbles either in the wrong size, or wrong flavor. She remade EACH OF THEM because she kept messing up. And on top of it, THEY WERE SO MILKY! It honestly didn't even taste like they put ice cream in it. I know the restaurant is short staffed and I worked in a restaurant for years and still work in retail to this day but you CANNOT treat customers that way! Went out for dinner with my husband for a delicious dinner on a budget. We were greeted and seated quickly. Took a little while to have our order taken but our drinks and appetizer came out quickly with a very nice waitress. Mozzarella sticks were cooked perfectly and came out nice and warm. Sadly, the silverware we were given was poorly cleaned. The meal came out within minutes and was perfect. The burgers were fully cooked and the fries were crispy and crunchy. Came in on a Sunday morning @ 10:55 and was seated immediately. To get a waitress, I had to flag one down and ask, after waiting for 15 minutes. We ended up getting served at 12:10. Many customers had that look on their faces and were constantly looking at there phones/watches. Once the food came out for my 3 sons and myself, it didn't look like anything close to the menu pictures. I get that advertised pictures are just that, advertising, but wow. My "three large eggs" scrambled looked like 2 barely cooked. My French toast was as dry as a cardboard box. My youngest son ordered cheeseburger sliders with mashed potatoes, he got French fries. My two older sons said they enjoyed their Belgium waffles and strawberry pancakes. The waitress was very friendly,and helpful, so I tipped her standard. I came into Friendly's this evening around 8:00pm. That was the busiest that I've ever seen it They only had 2 individuals working, and the line was practically out the door. I want to praise those 2 individuals for pushing through as hard as they did. They were able to keep it very professional while dealing with impatient, unruly customers. On top of that their machines were malfunctioning. Kudos to this Friendly's for the staff continuing to remain friendly through these troubling times. Where do I start? I've been going to friendly's for yearsss and this has to be the most disappointing one. The workers are RUDE. While you're waiting for ice cream they do nothing but talk about how they hate their lives, their jobs, they wanna quit, etc. Don't get me wrong a lot of people don't like where they work, but you don't broadcast it in front of your customers!! I've called before on a Saturday night around 10PM to ask what time they closed and a young lady answered the phone and said "ummmm, 10" and hung up. I knew restaurants stay open later on weekends so I continued to drive up there since I was already on my way. And behold!! they were open, until 11PM. Not only are they rude and miserable, but some of them barely want to do their job. I've had to repeat my orders at least 6 times on multiple occasions and they still get it WRONG. I came here and when i walked in most of the tables were were empty and cleaned off waiting for people to sit there. I stood at the hostess desk for about ten minutes and didn't get seated. I was looked at by four employees and made eye contact with all of them and they all ignored us. A group of three came in behind us and the left after about two minutes of waiting. I don't think I've ever had such poor service before in my life. My party of 5 arrived around 3pm for a late lunch, and the restaurant was fairly empty while there were a few patrons for the ice cream area. My guess is that a lunch rush just ended because almost every empty table was littered with glasses, plates, and ice cream dishes. It took about 5 minutes of standing in the foyer for someone to finally come over and seat us. We were seated at a booth for 4 (maybe 6 if 4 were small children), but managed to squeeze in all 5 of us. Our waitress, Katy, came over in a reasonable amount of time and took our drink order, and delivered said drink order also in a reasonable amount of time. She then took our food order, and quickly out came our Mini Mozzarella Sticks appetizer, which were pretty good. Then, it all went downhill. Again, I have to emphasize how few tables there were with people. Our waitress has 2 others when we arrived, and when those left 3 more joined. Not hard to keep track of 4 tables, especially when the other three were just 2 people. We waited about 20 minutes for our food to come out. Reasonable, but on the longer side of reasonable for how dead the restaurant was. I was in the bathroom when the food came out, and came back to discover I had been given a BBQ Burger (like 3 other members of my party had ordered) rather than the BBQ Chicken Supermelt I had ordered. I decided rather than wait for our waitress (who I think we saw once in that 20 minute span) just to eat the burger, which quite frankly wasn't as good. Also, I didn't feel like waiting then another 20 to get my sandwich. While we ate our food, the other tables ordered and had their food delivered. When we finished, our waitress was nowhere to be found, as were barely of the other 6 wait staff we had seen standing around. A few of us used the bathrooms, and when walking by the kitchen saw what appeared to be a confused group of poor waitstaff standing around not knowing how to do their job, as most of the tables that were dirty when we walked in were now still dirty an hour later. We waited, in all, 30 minutes for our waitress to bring us the check. We were initially going to order ice cream, but lost our appetites and didn't want to be trapped in the Friendly's forever. We got our check, it came out to $70.01, and I left $71.00 since I didn't have any change. If the restaurant was busy, if our waitress had even at least once acknowledged that we had been waiting or weren't being attended to, that could have saved it. But, she didn't, and the restaurant was dead. I don't know if there were no managers on duty, but if there were they should be fired along with half of the wait staff. Anyone with two arms and a head could have served us better or done a better job managing the mess that was this restaurant. The sad thing is we've eaten here before and it's been OK, which is all I expect from a Friendly's. But this, this really just ruined it. This place has gone downhill, and the garbage decor left of the tables matches the quality of the restaurant. Holy cow! A full on breakfast for 5 bucks! Half off breakfast on weekdays! I ordered the lumberjack breakfast it came with 3 eggs, 3 pancakes, and 3 slices of bacon. Food was great and for the price it can be beat! Waitress was attentive. Great breakfast spot. They also do 5 dollar lunch specials and have a very large menu with lots of variety to select from. I ordered the shrimp platter..... bad move.... they tasted freezer burnt and the breading was soggy, 100% disgusting. I sent it back and ordered a salad. On a side note of warning please don't use their order/game tablets on the table.
