Amazing service at Friendly! Daylea was exceptional. She was super polite and made the process very easy. Daylea is the one to see if you are looking for your next bike purchase. Thank you very much Daylea and the rest of the staff that I encountered. read more

Buy a motorcycle from these people and they are more than hapopy to price gouge on changing ONE REAR TIRE. These price gouging thieves are taking peoples hard earned money to the tune of nearly 300.00 Labor to change one tire. This does not include the price of the tire. I have have 4 tires put on my car for less than 500.00. You will be paying close to 600.00 or more for one tire for your new bike. fk these thieves. I will never buy anything from them again. On Saturday, May 31, 2025, I visited Friendly Power Sports to purchase an ATV. At 9:00 AM, I called to confirm store hours and spoke with Logan Morel. I arrived at 9:30 AM and asked for Logan, who showed me several ATVs within my budget. After two hours, I selected one, and it was sent for servicing. While finalizing paperwork and preparing to pay in full at Logan's desk, he excused himself and returned to say he needed his desk for another customer. Frustrated by this dismissive treatment after investing over two hours, I told Logan to cancel the paperwork and that I'd take my business elsewhere, expressing my dissatisfaction firmly. I then purchased the same ATV at another dealership for $1,000 less than Logan's "best price" and was home by 3:00 PM. Friendly Power Sports lost my business due to their poor customer service. read more

Dropped my side by side off nearly a month ago for service. Two weeks ago a service team member called me to talk about what they found. I reminded them for a third time I had a service warranty. This individual said they would call me back. Weeks later no call back. I've left three voicemails on the service line. Called the sales team to get service a message. Nothing to this point. What can they improve? Their service. Communicate. read more

Bought a used hyper naked from here a few months back and was very pleased. The bike had some issues and they fixed them plus others that weren't required. Dealings were pleasant and timely. The only complaint is they got the wrong plate for the bike. read more

DO NOT COME TO THIS STORE. As soon as you walk in we didn't even get greeted. My husband went to a sales man to ask for help. He answered his question while typing in the computer and laughing obviously not paying us any mind. This place gave me all kind of sterotype vibes. Please do not come here. Sadly we were ready to make a purchase for our little boy but I held back just because we received no help. GO ELSEWHERE. Is the first guy to your left when you walk in. read more

Buyers beware. I've now Bought two Side by Sides at Friendly Honda and Yamaha in the past 4 weeks. The First one was a Yamaha that lasted three hours before it died. I Politely took it back to them and exchanged it for a Honda Pioneer. They called me back a week later to tell me they had left packing foam in the manifold thus the reason it died. That's very Interesting. Today I brought the Honda in for its first 20 hour service. I've Owned it brand new for three weeks and love it but it shifts funny and has since the day we bought it. I truly thought that's just how they shift. I get a call from the mechanic and he says you need new clutches. Hmm why would that be but if you must have at it. When will it be ready? It's a normal wear and tear item that's not covered by warranty. What? An off road vehicle with 20 hours and a bumper to bumper 5 year extended warranty doesn't cover a clutch after 20 hours? Mr. Goscha; You'll have to call Honda! So I Called Honda and they said we'll have to investigate and get back to you on Tuesday! Are you freaking kidding me? So that's my story and I'll keep every one posted on my 20 hour old clutches!!!! #whathappenedtohondareliability #propmtcustomerservice#buyapolarisnexttime read more

Well I have to say, I'm glad I went in to Friendly a few weeks backs while I was traveling back to NOLA looking for some parts for a motorcycle. The service and attention Kyle at the parts counter extended to me was quite extraordinary. His eagerness to help, and get the info and parts I needed was really exemplary, even offering me a catalog of parts and supplies to take home so that I could find what I needed at my leisure. He indicated that anything I needed they could get quite readily and either ship it to me or keep it there for pickup on my monthly trip to BR. So that in fact what I did and placed an order for a number of parts. Four days later I get a call from Kyle saying all of my stuff what there and he'd be glad to send it to me if I couldn't get in to pick it up! On top if that I found their prices to be quite comparable to the big online stores even better - not kidding you have to check it out. I would much rather buy local and support merchants and shops like this even if it costs a little bit more but trust me when I say this - go to their online OEM parts page and you will see that their prices can't be beat. In fact, the day before I went there for the first time I had purchased a nice Motion Pro digital tire pressure device online at a place that rhymes with Godzilla. I noticed that they had one at the shop, and much to my dismay, Friendly's price was actually lower! Add that to some pretty cordial and helpful service and you will see that this place lives up to its name! I am hoping management realizes that their salesperson's diligence and honest effort to help has turned me into a repeat customer. I shared my experience with my other track buddies who are always needing parts and tools and they were quire amazed. All I can say is great work, keep it up, you have gained a few more regular customers in us. read more

MIKE, the so called service guy, does not known anything about a Can-am. He doesn't even know how to check the oil and does not know anything about a high/low sport bypass. Ruined a nice sale for Brandi. She was excellent and tried to help as much as possible. Drove 2 hours for stupidity. Will be headed elsewhere for a side by side. read more

Took 4 wheeler in for a stuck throttle and quickly found out they wanted to basically rebuild every tiny thing on my 2007 4 wheeler. They don't care why you brought your bike in they just want to run up your bill. I also requested they return all old parts they took off my 4 wheeler. It's even written on the invoice. THEY DID NOT! Glad they got as much as they could this time because it will be the last dollar they ever get from me. read more

i have two motorcycles from friendly and i thought they would pay attention to me buying my third---but cannot get any e-mails answered from them--do you have a computer dept. ----i even went up there and talked to a salesperson and did not get a very eager salesman to sell me a bike---and no knowledge of said bikes i looked at---i told him more about the bikes than he knew----- read more

I have been very hesitant about posting a review about this company after my terrible experience. After reading the reviews from everyone. I find it pretty amazing that I've had the same issues as almost every other review. Very nice people on the surface. Wolves in sheep's clothing actually. Had to return a used four wheeler the next day after purchase. The last thing i told my son before we brought it back was to check oil level and make sure it was full, so they couldn't use that as an excuse for any issues. The first thing their mechanic said when we returned it was that there was no oil in it and low and behold. The warranty that we paid extra for was denied. I wonder how many times this scam has been pulled off. Not only did I lose my warranty. I had to pay for the troubleshooting that their honest mechanic did. I ended up bringing the motor home in a cardboard box and rebuilding it myself eating all cost. DO NOT buy a warranty from this company. It has a hundred different reasons to decline and they will use a hundred reasons to decline. The owner of this company has to be the most clueless human on this planet. read more

Took my bike here in July. Decided on an engine swap instead of rebuild about the last day of July. That same week I asked for an estimate to change the fork seals. A full 20 days later someone there was able to actually give me an estimate. In the second week of October the shop had finally managed to take one engine out and put another in, sort of. When I walked back to the garage ALL of my wiring on both sides of the frame under the fuel tank was actually ran outside the frame. The vacuum lines from the air box were as well and for good measure, wiring to the tail section was tie-wraped to the frame. To top it off they lost my battery cover, not the hidden black one but part of my fairing. It stalled 4 times on the way home, either idled too high or under when it ran. Also I had to add water twice to get it back. $3400. Second try. $600 more dollars to fix idle adjustment cable. This was a pre existing issue, so not on them. Get it back October 19 and it makes it home! Wake up at 5:30 the next morning thinking im finally going to do some riding. The bike doesn't get 3 miles before everything just shuts down. Luckily im able to get it off the freeway and keep it running(only under 4000rpm) long enough to get it to my garage. $4000 and now im working on it. I get the gas tank off, low and behold there is a sensor laying on top of the camshaft positioning sensor on top of the rear cylinder head. A hole now burnt in the vacuum hose. As I look to where it should mount to the air box I see that the overflow hose from the bottom of that is almost off because no one could be bothered to turn a screw. The grand finally was trying to tighten the two bolts that hold down the fuel tank and realizing that BOTH are stripped. Thats what you can expect from this shop. They are friendly, they are not qualified to service motorcycles. read more

I don't think you can pick less than one star but if I could I would. It's very unfortunate that under certain circumstances this may be your last option for parts or service because in direct contradiction to their name they are not friendly in fact cocky Yamaha or pretentious Yamaha would be more fitting. Do not go here unless you have absolutely run out of options. read more

I went to the location to have two nuts removed from a Honda trx250 final drive that calls for $300 worth of special tools to remove them. When approaching the service desk, the guy said, "I would not touch that with a 10' pole," and said this before I said anything. So I asked what they would charge me to just remove the two nuts needing special tools, and he said again, "I won't touch it." When asked why, he said he has had nothing but bad experiences with rebuilding them and they break right after. That's when I told him I am rebuilding it not him. All I was asking is for him to remove the two nuts so I don't have to spend $300+ for tools I will only need for a minute then never need again. He said he would rather sell me a new one for about the same amount it costs to rebuild it. Well, seeing as it only cost $28 for all parts to rebuild it and the fact that the part is obsolete, I asked him if he could get me one for around the same price, and all he said was, "Sorry. I won't touch it." On the other hand, the parts department is very helpful and told me of another place to go that would be more helpful. UPDATE: The general manager got in touch with me, and was extremely helpful. He apologized for the way the staff treated me, and said that was not the way they do business. He met me at the Honda shop and helped me with the job I needed done, and did not charge me. I am pleased with the way he handled the situation. While I will probably never go back to the service department again, I would deal with him again in the future if I ever need anymore help. read more

Good at selling a product. Brand new pioneer 1000. First trip out had a problem shifting. For me no problem this happens with items. Tried to drop off. Can't too busy see you in several weeks. Called sales guy no help whatsoever. Days later now I'm miffed. Called sales manager who did send me to service a couple hours later who politely told me kiss off. Best he can do is 12 days later maybe. Jesus, do not buy from this place unless you plan on fixing yourself Oh also told them we had a planned trail ride which nowI've got to figure out how to get bike fixed. read more

Brought my Goldwing in for a brake recall. Everything went great from start to finish. I also had them install a pair of exhaust tips. They quoted me a price from 30 to 50 dollars. In 2014 after extensive motor work I took my bike in to get it Dyno, The young guy that performed the test did a phenomenal job getting peak performance in every gear. From that first Dyno test, it yielded me over 103 horsepower and 113 ft. lbs. of Torque and this was with a weak clutch. After completing the Dyno test the young gave me some welcomed advice. The young Tech informed me that I should get a high performance clutch to handle the power that my bike was generating. Just recently April 24, 2017, I had my bike re-dyno, now with a high performance clutch and several other upgrades needed for increase in power and I can tell you that I will NEVER!!! take my bike there again. At Friendly Yamaha in Baton Rouge you're able to view the Dyno session while it's taking place (Real Time) and I can tell you this new guy Never! peaked my bike in ever gear to get optimum performance; in fact, he did totally the opposite of what I expected to get for my money ($461.96). Once I got home I compared charts of the first Dyno test to the recent and it was like night and day. I went from 103 horsepower and 113ft. lbs. of torque to 91 horsepower and 107ft. lbs. of torque. When I sent the graphs to the manager hoping that he could explain how did I lose horsepower and torque only to get a phone call from and individual that's in deep denial and in extreme defense mode. If his first words to me would have been, Sir bring your bike back in and we are going to Re-Dyno it instead of make excuses and unparalle comparisons I wouldn't be writing this review or going to the extremes that I'm about to go for the money that I swindle out of. After further comparison of the charts I found out why my bike was underperforming . I found out that the Tech that performed the Dyno reduced fuel at several peak RPM points. Personally I cannot see myself ever bringing bike back to UNFRIENDLY Yamaha again!!! read more

I called these people to place an order and the total was $208.00 and some of the parts had to be ordered I said ok then he tells me that someone has to pay first before the parts can be ordered I said ok let me call my customer and see if he will go and pay for the parts. So I did and he did not wont drive in Br. So I called Friendly Honda/Yamaha back and was told the parts dept. was to busy to take my call so she took my num. well 2 to 3 hrs. later no call back so I called back the parts guy answered and I told him I would come pay for what needs to be ordered. All I was trying to do was save fuel because it takes me 1hr to drive to their store pay for parts and drive back home. Then when the parts come in I have to drive back to their store to pick up the parts ." To me a customer is a customer on the phone or in person" And in my case order the parts to help the customer save fuel don't worry about the all mighty dollar that customer will come back. But I did not get called back they did not help me save fuel so me and 6 others WILL NOT BUY NOTHING FROM THAT STORE EVER AGAIN !!!!!!!! read more
