Jim represented me in a terrible custody battle in which the odds were vastly against the outcome I…read morewas looking for. He worked on my behalf tirelessly and he let me know all the way by his work and actions that my interests and the interests of my children were protected. Jim is very hard working, very reliable and detailed oriented in his work and will take extra steps to ensure that he understands your situation. He is very responsive and there is enormous reassurance in knowing that your lawyer will return your calls quickly and will explain things clearly. I believe that one of the qualities that sets Jim apart from other lawyers is his tremendous ability to understand people and situations. I remember being in Court with him representing my case to the judge. The way Jim told my story was the way I lived it myself. It was so true and authentic that in my heart of hearts I do believe that his ability to relate to me on a human level and tell my story from that perspective is what won that day, and not just the facts of the case. This exceptional quality was also obvious in many other instances, such as mediations and interactions with other lawyers and experts involved in the case. In many ways, the words fall short from relaying how grateful I am to have Jim as my attorney. If anyone wants the certainty that his or her interests are protected by a remarkably smart, very experienced and always very well prepared lawyer, that would be Jim Tenn. A very happy and grateful client. MS

She NEVER told Me what I wanted to hear, but was honest and fully transparent regarding my options and chances of coming away with a positive outcome. WHILE we started the case prior to COVID, attorney Bernazzani never skipped a beat in keeping and meeting all our deadlines with the court. She pivoted to a virtual case without missing a beat. I never felt left in the dark and she was readily available to answer any question big or small- basing her guidance on the statutes that exist and how we could support of our case. She didn't call just to increase the rate, her calls were always thoughtful and reason based. She worked tirelessly on my case and while at times I questioned myself- she kept me on track and based our case on existing statutes. Working in a virtual environment isn't easy but honestly as we got our decision today I realized I have NEVER met the woman that tirelessly fought for my family in person. I would recommend her with zero reservations- fair, firm and fights tirelessly for her clients.

If you don't care that she acts above the law and includes details not relevant to the case or…read moreapplicable law, then she may be the lawyer for you. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to share my experience so others can make an informed decision. Throughout my interactions with this attorney, I found the level of professionalism to be disappointing. There appeared to be an overwhelming caseload, which often resulted in confusion regarding court dates, meeting times, and case-related communications. Important details were frequently mixed up, creating unnecessary stress and requiring constant follow-up. Communication was another significant concern. Emails were often written in an unprofessional tone, and when mistakes occurred, there was little to no accountability. Instead of acknowledging errors and working collaboratively to resolve them, responsibility was often shifted elsewhere. At the same time, delays from clients or others involved in the case were met with criticism and impatience, creating a frustrating double standard. Perhaps most concerning was the overall lack of confidence this experience inspired. Professionalism, organization, accountability, and respect are qualities clients should expect from legal representation, and unfortunately, those qualities were consistently lacking in my experience. If this review is challenged or dismissed simply because the attorney claims not to recognize the situation or disputes the feedback, that would only reinforce the concern. Clients have a right to share honest experiences, whether positive or negative. This review reflects my genuine experience and opinion based on direct interactions. I would encourage anyone considering representation to carefully evaluate whether this attorney's communication style, organization, and professional conduct align with their expectations before retaining services.

After spending over 50K in legal fees on two lawyers and losing years of my life trying get terms…read moreof separation agreement settled, I really needed to make sure of my next selection. Melanie did what the other 2 lawyers didn't do. SHE GOT RESULTS! Lucky for me, the third time was the charm. I found out about Melanie Solomon on the Mass Super Lawyers list. I am proof of why Melanie is on that list. Melanie gave me great advice on whether to pursue possible legal action versus just going after retirement funds owed to me. Melanie's only interests and concerns were to do what was best for her client. My case was very challenging as my uncooperative ex-wife moved out of state to Florida and the retirement funds were moved to a different company. Melanie was very organized and kept tabs on my case to keep things moving. She persisted and pushed things along till it's successful conclusion. What stood out to me was that Melanie was a true professional. My case was probably one of her smallest cases, but she cared, accepted full responsibility of my case and I always felt like she was giving me the same effort of her more lucrative cases. Melanie's billing was more than fair and offered great value. My only regret is that I didn't select Melanie from the start. In my heart, I know Melanie would have got things done once, right and the first time. SELECTING THE RIGHT LAWYER CAN BE A LIFE CHANGING AND CONSEQUENTIAL DECISION. Selecting Melanie Solomon will be one of the best decisions you can make.

You can rest assured you will be well advised with O'Connor and Ryan, PC!!!…read more My initial contact with lawyers and their ways was Clarence Darrow or rather his nephew Jack. He was solely responsible for my moving to Washington, DC to finish my education. While there I worked for two law firms that shared an office space. When my schooling was complete I relocated to San Francisco where I still live today. For 8 years I worked for O'Melveny and Myer's LLP one of the leading firms In America and the rest of the world. I ran the front desk and was personally responsible for attending to counsel when they arrived and their clients. This included among others Warren Christopher, George Lucas, Condoleezza Rice, Steve Jobs, Supreme Court lawyers, numerous and varied pro bono clients and everyday people like you and me I dealt with all types and learned that competence and experience levels vary widely from one to the next. Recently an urgent matter required counsel and concerned the stability, health and wealth of close family that live in the Worcester County area. Their previous attempts had failed to do so and I told them that I can find you a good lawyer. Second best was NOT an option so this had to be done right. I surveyed the field and settled upon 4 firms and after submitting a brief account electronically overnight I was up at 5:30 am the next morning to follow up by phone. As I was picking up my phone a new e-mail came through. It was from O'Connor and Ryan confirming that my electronic submission had been received and to call them at my earliest convenience with the appropriate contact info. I called them directly and from the moment my call was answered up to the present everyone that I have had contact with there have all conducted their business ina courteous, confident and professional manner. After a couple of quick questions within 5 minutes an arrangement had been made for my family to come into the office 4 hours later for an initial consultation. Although I was not there in person I was given a thorough account of by a family member who was. The counsel Mr. Mysliwicz gave was excellent and I knew that this was indeed not second best. To be brief the advice was so good that it eliminated the need of having to retain them! The common sense wisdom that he brought to the table was crucial. What to focus on, what to expect and what to keep in mind we're so simply and easily conveyed that a matter of the utmost stress and difficulty and been turned into what was surely to be a quick and favorable decision which it was. I could go on at length but not necessary as I only would be repeating what I have already said at the start and that is you will be well advised if you retain O'Connor and Ryan. I cannot thank them enough!!!
