My family member passed away, H&R Block process the taxes, we submitted e-file, I paid for the "Refund Due of Deceased Taxpayer Form"...guess what happened? YEP...sent refund both federal & state sent to OLD DECEASED person's address. NOW, I get to try to reach a "REAL' person to get the refund. This is something that didn't need to be happening. PLEASE people(data entry folks) pay attention to what you are doing. Typing WPM should be avoiding errors. Goverment Business should be "goof-proof". Be Professional! Thank you for listening....

I have to say that the Dept. Of Health is less busy thus less stressful. It only took us about 5 minutes to get things done. Each copy was $21.00. Bring cash or a check because they do not take debit or credit. There is a parking lot right behind the building. You can easily park here for a fee of coarse and you can walk right into the building from there. The Health Dept. Offers many services which I am not entirely aware of. I did however as a student get a TB chest X-Ray to clear me to work with the child development department at Fresno City College. It was not expensive because I was a student at the time.

Man, what wonderful service I received here. Juliet just about held my hand walking me through all the double checking I wanted to do. Patient, kind and professional, she really brought the human touch (without actually touching a human) to this department. Mary Ann, likewise was awesome and helpful. And it's a good thing, as I had them laughing at my corny jokes, Rob, their supervisor, came up to the front counter as well. As it would turn out, Rob and I go the same church, Riverpark Bible Church. Go Riverpark! Anyway, as a result of this trip and the fantastic service, I learned that I need to take advantage of a 'Homeowner's Exemption Form' that essentially with reduce the value from which the property is taxed about 7K. Hot Dog! Thank you good Lord for the good people you plugged me in with today who further helped me to ensure my interests! I might have missed it were it not for their awesome service! Lol…read more The meters have been changed to cards only, but the screens are very hard to read in the sunlight. No debit cards, credit cards only, BTW. So this visit was to get an update on an already approved building permit. Due to a small error, we needed a red line on wording that shouldn't have been on our original plans. So here we are. Glad to see that the lobby has reopened since being closed due to Covid months ago. The hubby didn't have an appointment and was nicely surprised to be helped on the spot without one. Usually you make an appointment and come back in a bit. Anyway, the first guy to help him was full of "no's" but when another guy came out, he was very informative and helpful. Got one item taken care of, but one thing seems to lead to another in the construction world. Lol. He did let us know what we need to do next and it looks to be an easy fix. Needless to say, we're quite pleased with the outcome of this visit! Reminders-making an appointment is best and on Fridays their hours are only 830-1230. 9-5 on Mon-Thurs. When ahead and put the car on jack stands and next thing you know the ground caved in and the car fell with a loud bang, my mom came out screaming thinking the worst but thankfully I was in the back of the house getting something. I am thankful that I didn't get injured and that the car is fine but this is just beyond unacceptable that this company could have done just a cheap job!
