After he wash his hands he came up and asked us if we knew what we wanted in a pleasant manner. I asked about the sombrero pizza if the beef had any onions and he replied no. We placed our order of a sombrero pizza told 30 min. We decided to go for a walk, And came back in 20 min and it was ready! We noticed a table and asked if we could eat there as we had no where else to eat. And we were welcomed to do so. Pizza was good, not greasy. ( myself I'm not a huge pizza person) , but my husband is and he REALLY liked it . So much so we are back in Armstrong he will order again!

Phoned ahead for a pickup (created a Hawaiian type pizza & ordered small Greek salad with some soda pops) and was delighted it was in the basement of the old courthouse. There is a little table with a couple of chairs, so even though it's not really kitted out to dine in, the place is Historic indeed! Promptly ready, the pizza was a thin crust with toppings which was just right, and the Greek salad had lots of crunchy fresh vegetables. As I understand it, the woman who served me is the owner and works very hard to continue to create and manage this business. (Since August, 2019). After another twenty minutes had passed, I was called inside to discover that only one pasta had been prepared. Given how much time had already been wasted and my need to provide dinner for my family elsewhere, I chose to take the single pasta along with the partial refund offered. However, to my frustration, I was still charged for the one portion rather than being refunded in full. The service throughout this experience was careless and dismissive, showing little regard for my time as a customer. While the gentleman at the front counter was polite, the overall handling of the situation left much to be desired. Combined with the noticeable decline in food quality over the past few years, this incident has confirmed I will no longer be a customer of or reccomened Jims going forward.
