I was very excited to see the major transformation of my carpet after hearing great things from this company on Facebook and Yelp, but was completely disappointed!! Our appointment was for 9:00 AM and the technician did not show up until after 9:40 and didn't even call until 9:30 to say he was running late. In the meantime we were frantically calling Fresh Start, (on hold for 15 minutes) sending emails, replying to Arts email that said they'd be here at 9:00 on Jan 3. And after spending $200 on our carpet cleaning you can still see the high traffic areas around our couch. It looked better before they steam cleaned it. Soooo disappointing and waste of my hard earned money. I would have been better off renting a machine and doing it myself. read more

I was given very expensive furniture from a family member. Loved the aesthetics, quality, wood finish, etc. of the pieces; hated the smell of cigarette smoke they carried. Two very nice gentlemen came out to my home and cleaned two silk arm chairs and sofa. Unbelievable job they did. Just moved to NJ from Oklahoma and our new place needed our carpets cleaned out. I looked on here and found a couple of places that had good reviews but Art actually took the time to explain how they clean our carpets and was able to fit us in before our movers brought in our furniture. The two gentlemen that came by were on time if not a bit early, which I like businesses that are earlier than later. They gave me an estimate time of an hour to finish the job but finished roughly around 40 minutes. The place smelled 10 times better than it did before! This company was great. Got back to me within a day of me filling out an online inquiry. We got our couches cleaned (to rid them of puppy pee) and the father and son did a great job and left everything smelling like fresh peppermint. I love this service! I could not be happier with what they accomplished. My appointment was for 10:30AM. They arrived at 10:30AM as promised. After the walk through, I asked for the couch to be cleaned which was not on their order. They were able to accommodate the request & still be done within the 2 hour commitment they made. The two fellas were courteous and professional, and I cannot speak more highly of them. As far as the actual service, the carpets & couch looked as if they were just installed, and the carpet was old from when the house was purchased in 2000. The carpet cleaning was reasonably priced, although I thought the couch price was a bit high. That said, you get what you pay for & it was a thorough job that left everything 300% better than what it was. I will be using them again without a doubt. I would also like to add, it helps them and you if you prep your home by moving the smaller pieces of furniture and any collectables off of surfaces. I called stating that my father's sick dog had recently died, urinating throughout the house. I informed the owner that we used a home steamer to try and get rid of the smell and were unsuccessful. Art stated that his machine was a stronger steam and they should be able to address it. They arrived, completed the job in an hour. The team was extremely courteous and professional. The phone quote was $280, the charge was $240(plus an additional $16 for taxes since I used a credit card) They sprayed odor kill, which I did not respond well to - the smell was very strong. I waited a couple of weeks hoping that it would go away. I called Art and said the smell of the urine was still there, barely masked by the unpleasant smell of the odor kill. At that time Art stated that there was significant urine damage and that I would need to replace the carpet, padding and clean the flooring. I asked for him to return and at least do another steam to get rid of the odor kill smell. He said he would do so for an additional $100. I could not get clarity on what the $100 would include because he said he would make the determination when he arrived. The home belongs to my father and he was unwilling to pay additional fees when ultimately the only resolution may be complete replacement. I wish I could give this business a more positive review, I was impressed with the team and liked the phone exchanges with Art. I reached out on yelp, Art responded immediately, the conversation was informative and professional. He was confident and charming, I chose not to seek other businesses. However, Art over promised and under delivered. I can still smell the urine and odor kill, it has been a month. read more
