Throughout this time my experience has been positive and I have nothing but praise for the school. The teachers are genuinely concerned for the learning potential and welfare of the children and seem able to stretch the more able children while helping those who might fall behind. The amount of extra curricular activities and diverse school trips is amazing and really expands the children's horizons. Discipline seems to be taken very seriously and there have never seemed to be any issues about behaviour. The school is a real community school that has an incredibly welcoming atmosphere, to children and parents alike. My youngest child is still in the Nursery and I'm waiting to hear if she has a place in Reception, if she hasn't I will be devastated as I can't imagine a better school, and it has become part of our lives over the last 8 years!

I have a child in the school and another on a waiting list, i am experienced in the world of childrens education, and would not fault sunnyhill in the slightest.....it is a wonderful community school, with big aspirations! To any parent out there who wants the best education for their child, then come along to sunnyhill, you will be welcomed!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And to parent 2011; positivity is a great thing!

The support & admin staff are always professional & very helpful , and everyone is on a first name basis and tries to get to know you very quickly and listen to any queries. All in all so far proving to be one of the best decisions I have made in recent years re my personal CPD. In the front is a space that is used for shows by alumni of the college and the college itself is contained to three buildings joined by corridors and bridges. It's a nice place to be and work, although the current SU bar is just a bar at the back of the canteen, there's nothing to really distinguish it as a bar. No nights or music goes on here as of yet, but there may well be in the future once the bar facilities are sorted out.
