Amazing farm to table restaurant. Nice ambience. The boiled beef was amazing! And the drinks.

Excellent. Found on Michelin Bib Gourmand list. Well deserved. Very good food and wine. We enjoyed every dish we ordered. Highly recommend.

My wife and I were on a five day trip to Munich and my friend recommended this place, I am glad he…read moredid! I ordered a beer and the steak and spaetzle dinner. Very good! Our servers were super cool and the place was like a traditional beer hall, I loved it. Try it out if you are okay with about a fifteen minute walk from the train station.

Augustiner Bräustuben was unfortunately one of the biggest disappointments of our Munich trip. I…read morereally wanted to love this place given its reputation, but the experience fell far short. We ordered the pork knuckle, pretzel with beer cheese, and beer. The pork knuckle arrived cold and lacked flavor, while the pretzel didn't seem particularly fresh either. The beer pour was especially disappointing--the amount of foam/head was ridiculous, and for a place associated with such a famous brewery, I expected a much better pour. The photos really speak for themselves. Service was the biggest issue. We repeatedly tried to get someone's attention to place our order, but the servers seemed to avoid eye contact and kept waiting for someone else to help us. Even getting the check was a struggle--we eventually had to get up and go to a counter ourselves. It felt like the staff had little interest in actually serving the customers. The atmosphere itself has the traditional Bavarian beer hall feel, but unfortunately, the poor food, disappointing beer pour, and especially the terrible service completely overshadowed it. I really wanted to like this place, but based on our experience, there are much better beer halls and beer gardens in Munich.
