Reviews looked great on Yelp and Google so we thought we'd give it a try. Immediately we were welcomed by David and he was so nice and friendly. He talked to us about how Virginia Furniture has been a family-owned business for over 40 years. He gave us enough space to look around but also gave us all the honest info we needed to make a decision. We decided on a sofa, loveseat, chair, and a 3-piece table set for $2300. It was a great deal. Delivery was scheduled for the next weekend, and they also haul our old furniture out. I even had my pick of a free item as a thank you for our purchase. I chose a silicone oven mitt. I will be coming back in the future, next time we need furniture.

People, don't go to Mattress Firm and pay off the wall for those mattresses and don't listen to people who say,"furniture stores don't give the same quality as those who only sell mattresses." We opted to have our sofa and loveseat delivered. That went smoothly, they unpacked/positioned the furniture in our rec room and disposed of the shipping crates too. Upon discovering a manufacturer defect on the back of the sofa frame, Nihad ordered us a replacement couch immediately. They re-delivered the new one and hauled the other one away, no questions asked. New one is perfect! They stand behind the quality of their products and do what it takes to ensure that their customers are happy.

Usually for the houses I flip, I pick a package that's in stock. There are pretty good selections. Stainless steels, Black, name brands, and etc. There's also scratch and dents selections for deep discount counts as well. If there is a particular appliance that you are looking for, just ask and they will try to get it for you. I was able to get my appliances for way cheaper than what Best Buy was offering. Home Depot and Lowe's didn't have my brand/model. So I'm super happy about that. They also deliver and set up your appliance. The delivery guys were quick with the set up and nice. FYI - There's no "showroom" and it feels like a mom and pop shop you're walking into so keeping an open mind will help the experience LOL!!

After this purchase I have vowed to only buy appliances directly from the original stores along with a warranty. It's actually taken me some time to put this experience into words after the disgraceful treatment we received here. The store is located off South Battlefield. The storefront is very deceptive. Once you get inside, it's massive - over 60,000 square feet of furniture! One could even get lost just looking at furniture here. We came in with our young daughter after a day of outdoor activities and were greeted at the front door by a gentleman right away (I believe his name was Jim or maybe Joe, but I'd really rather forget him). We gave him a synopsis of what type of dining set we were hunting for, and shown directly to a section of Canadel furniture. He let us know about their options (colors/finishes/sizing) and seemed to be guiding us toward their "cheaper" options, despite the fact that we had not said a word about budget. Every time we asked a question (be it about a chair option, delivery estimate or stain), he seemed bothered by having to supply an answer. We let him know that wanted to look at the other offerings in the store and also that we would likely have to return with our paint, counter and cabinet samples to make a more informed purchase. Once we indicated we weren't going to be spending money that day, Jim/Joe's demeanor downgraded even further. He had the gall to reprimand our daughter very loudly, who was trying to climb onto the dining chairs when we encouraged her to "try them out." Furniture is for sitting in by the entire family. Our toddler is not an exception. She will never be discounted when we make a family decision and should have never been made to feel bad about doing what her parents instructed her to do. If Jim/Joe had an issue with our daughter climbing on to the furniture, just as she would be doing in her own home, he should have spoken to us directly before speaking to our child. I will NEVER step foot back in this establishment. Making assumptions about our income is one thing. Yelling at my daughter is another. I actually have tears streaming as I write this review because his scolding OUR child hurt me so deeply. I would plead with you to look elsewhere without the slightest hint of hesitation. I will be posting about our wonderful experience at West Elm in VB, including the incredibly kind and respectful treatment of our daughter.
