Before signing the contract, we specifically asked how much the rate could increase annually, and we were told it would not go up by more than 5%. However, just three months after signing, our monthly fee increased by more than 60%, bringing it to $211 per month. At the time, we were living out of state and had no choice but to continue paying the higher rate. Now, at the one-year mark, we've been notified that the rate is increasing again by 23%, to $260 per month. This is not a small inflation adjustment -- it feels like taking advantage of customers who cannot quickly remove their belongings. We are very disappointed with these pricing practices. If you're willing to pay more than double your original rate, this facility may work for you. Otherwise, be cautious and fully understand how their pricing structure works before signing. We are now looking for another storage option, which will require us to travel out of state to handle this.

The building is nice and clean, employees are pleasant to work with. However I have had a space…read morefor 2 weeks and still cannot access my building due to some error with their security system. So far I have only been able to access during business hours, once with a temporary code and the other time when they just manually bypassed ten system to keep the building entirely unlocked. This significantly reduces the usability of the storage unit for me because their improved security yet easy access to my items are the important part. *UPDATE* 11/21/21-reduced to one star I went in with a truckload of items on Saturday, still the system would not allow me into the building. The manager tried to be helpful, but their security system seemed entirely broken. I was not able to access my storage unit that day and had to leave after about 30 minutes. I went in today (Sunday) to access, no luck. The main gate has a sign that says "keypad out of order". No further information, no apparent way to get a vehicle into the space, no estimate about when I can access the unit. This is the second trip I have made with a full truck and had to turn around. So in summary. 1. I have had the space for just under a month. I have only been able to access my space twice, both times required and extra 30-45 minutes to have a manager provide me a way in. 2. I have showed up twice and just had to turn around. Truck still full of items with nowhere to put them. 3. I have not been afforded the access I paid for, which is the entire reason I chose this facility at the significant price premium above other option. 4. Their security system is obviously not properly maintained. It has failed me 4 out of 4 attempts so far. The main exit keypad has a broken screen that isn't readable as well, speaking to the owners apparent tolerance for a poorly functioning system. Right now I am still hoping the can resolve the issues because the employees and faculty are nice, however I would not recommend this storage facility at this time. Consider Extra Space storage in Centerville if you are looking for climate controlled storage near Bountiful.

I don't have much to do with the facility. Basically loaded it in and locked it up. I pay monthly and then after the second month in payment it spikes over $100 dollars for a 5×10. My original contract said $78 a month now I pay over $150 a month and that's just ridiculous when it's just a basic locked it loaded it up, locked it up and left it alone situation. I'm not there like the crackheads next door to my storage. It's not like a rent situation where I've overstayed my welcome. I think it is completely uncalled for for this business to treat me the way that they have when it's just a clean not using their garbage loaded up and locked away situation!

"we noticed there's not a lock on your storage unit, feel free to come and put a lock on it at your earliest convenience." Can you say, "inside job!" Duh, if my unit has had a lock on it for many years, why would I just decide to take the lock off w/out moving my belongings out?!?! I immediately called them and they told me that they had done rounds the Thursday before and the lock was there, so it must've happened over the weekend. Needless to say, the lock was CUT, long gone and OVER HALF of my storage was stolen! I must say, in the days of "rings" "nests" and cheap, easy camera installation, I was utterly shocked to learn that they only have 2 cameras, both from the olden days and both pointed only at the front gate. Are you serious?!? When I called to ask if they could check their cameras and that the police would be coming to fingerprint later that day. The office manager giggled while she asked me, "do you have any enemies." The police found glove prints but no traceable fingerprints. Of course the manager said she couldn't see anything suspicious on the camera footage. I immediately moved the remainder of what was left out of the storage unit without telling Aspen Springs- I wanted to see how long it would take them to notice. Three months passed w/ out a word from them and then I got an email reminder that it was time to pay my next 6 months worth of rent. Clearly, my stuff was stolen months prior to when it was reported to me which would explain why I could not find any of it at the local pawn shops or online. Your belongings will absolutely be stolen if you choose to store them here!!!

I was able to take a few days to load up the Unit, then gave them a call and the next day they picked it up and moved it to my new house. I wish I would have reserved more straps because they work so well. I used some of my own straps and they did not work as well as the straps unit lets you rent. I was able to move my 3 bedroom house in one single unit. They were very professional and easy to work with. Highly recommend.

I know it was largely because we were able to stage and declutter by having our extra storage/furniture in the unit. I was so surprised at how much we were able to store in the Unit. It was such a convenient process being able to load our things in, have them stored and then the unit delivered to our new home. Everything was done in our own time frame. The employees are very professional and customer service is unmatched. I would never think twice about using their services again or hesitate to recommend Units to a good friend!
