I ended up moving out of state shortly after I purchased insurance from Tamara. She handled everything for me in a timely manor. It is not often that you run across people you enjoy doing business with! I feel lucky to have had Tamra as an insurance agent! I will conclude by highly recommending Tamara and her staff. I was able to get the actual insurance company, Safeco, to try to remedy the situation, yet Brightway has done nothing. I have requested via phone and email that my insurance quote be updated before my next payment is due, so I can see if I'm still overpaying with the newly corrected bundled discount and their sales people are extremely slow compared to other agencies on getting me updated quotes via Email. Its been over a week of dealing with this and still not updated quote. On the other hand, I'm getting voicemails and emails from other insurance agencies who want my business. These people at Brightway are nice, but that is all they are, they are not good at selling insurance or keeping customers.

Well, you would be surprised, it's not easy getting elective flood insurance for your home. Your…read morecurrent carrier for home insurance doesn't necessarily offer it-and also major carriers will carry it in some states but not others-so it's not as simple as talking to any local home insurer to get an estimate. Anyway, let's just say you have to do some digging thru FEMA. For Arizona, Farmer's is a carrier-so I chose a couple local Farmer's agents to discuss this with. At this location Debbie took my initial information but called me back just a few minutes later and tried to dissuade me from pursuing an estimate using the following arguments: she told me that my home insurance carrier had to cover it (untrue), then she told me why would I buy something I didn't need-no one bought flood insurance when it wasn't required (untrue), and then questioned why I would even pursue Farmer's as a carrier-couldn't I just look elsewhere (UMM-because its on FEMA's website that Farmer's offer flood insurance). SO I simply confronted Debbie on her song and dance routine and said, it's clear you don't want to sell me flood insurance because I don't have my home/car/umbrella insurance with your agency (their is a low profit margin for preferred flood insurance). Finally, she said it would just be too complicated to get an estimate, she would GASP...have to enter all my information about my home. Alright, some honesty....thanks Debbie for coming clean in the end! This bumped you up to 3 stars!
