I typically only write reviews when I receive excellent or horrid service. I thought I might write the former however my experience did not match. I began shopping for auto insurance quotes a few weeks before my policy was to expire. Nathan at Brightway was one of several agents I was exploring quotes with. With some research he was able to quote me a savings of 150$ over other quotes for a new policy, he followed up on the sale a few days later, the transaction was feeling good. When I decided to pull the trigger, Nathan informed me the original quote was not available, but he had other options with premiums a bit over quotes from other agents. At this point with a 400$ creep in price, several hours on the phone, a trip out of town scheduled the next day, and an policy expiration date looming, I asked to cancel the transaction. I was told he spoke with the company and my card would not be charged for the premium, The next day my card was charged. In contrast I visited a local insurance agent and was insured at a previously quoted price in under 30 minutes. I write this review several days later, my money yet to be refunded, follow up communication promises seem lost, and more time will be required to reverse charges and unwind a poor experience... read more
