Been with them for years now. Last year i bought a new car and again got my insurance from them. All of a sudden after 3 months of autopaying the insurance, it just stopped. I went back right away to ask why and how to fix it. I was told to close the current policy and open a new one. I paid another broker's fee fyi and was told all is good and the agent will take care of everything. A couple weeks after, i received a mail from the insurance to close the old policy so i contacted them to do it. I thought everything was done but a couple months ago i received a letter from a debt collector and kept receiving calls. It was during Christmas time so i was on vacation so i was just calling and texting my agent even the first agent who helped me with the first policy. He said he will let the current agent know and to call me back. No one did. I had to call freeway insurance main office but i was told just to contact my agent or call the insurance directly. But even them was a pain in the butt. They wanted me to email my old and current policy so they can adjust it and i can forget about the debt. No response even, it's been almost a month now. Long story short, i paid the debt instead of ruining my credit. Never again with any freeway insurance company. Rather get insurance directly no more broker. read more

Rual was very nice but he charged me on my credit card before everything done and finally i decided to not purchase the car insurance then Raul told me, he'll void that transaction but a fews days later my credit card had been charged. Well of course after having to deal with this company they have just been a hassle. Literally trying to find out information on MY policy yet no one can give me the help I need. I'm on the phone with the actual insurance company as they guide through the process being that my previous car broke down and now I'm trying to add a new car and FREEWAY INSURANCE is prolonging the process all because I have a job and can't drop everything I'm doing to go sit in one of their offices. I renewed my policy a couple of months ago And they told me that everything will be the same And I made sure that it includes automatic payments Apparently that wasn't Set up So I missed 2 payments and they canceled My policy when I realized that I haven't made any payments I call them and ask them about the automatic payment and it wasn't set up So I asked them to re open my policy and set it up And they made me pay the activation fee again which is dumb because I should have had automatic payment and not have to worry about it They didn't want to waive the fee even though it was their fault read more

I went into this location to cancel my car insurance policy. (I sold my car. Nothing against the company.) The process of actually canceling my policy was simple and fast. But there was a big lack of business professionaism. I walked in and got a head nod from a sitting gentleman. He never stood up to shake my hand or introduce himself. As he began to cancel my policy, he continued his personal conversation about a girl with someone else who was across the office. He also continued to use his personal cell phone while assisting me. There was never any engagement with me. Maybe I am a too observant of a person, or because I work in the business industry, but there isn't an excuse or explaination for not being professional in business. Bad experience, called for quote to make changes to existing policy, was told (by two different people in this office) monthly payment would have a very minimal increase ($25-$50) even after I explained I was adding a new driver and car (I even gave driver and car details both times). I was told i just needed to come in. After coming in, the "minimal" increase turns out to be $250 more per month. Wow, not even in the same ballpark as their quote. I canceled my existing policy a couple days after. Unprofessional and lazy. Wish I could give negative stars. read more

Do not under any circumstances use this company. For starters, they are rude and unprofessional (on the day I went in, the 4 "agents" were sitting back in their desks, on their phones talking about going out and later on, talking about their sales goals and who was ahead or behind (and they did this in Spanish, thinking I would not understand or care). In any event, they set up my insurance all wrong (I'd had the same policy with Stonewood for almost 10 years, set up as an EFT payment, and somehow, after putting me on a different policy and then back to Stonewood - all in the same visit, they removed the EFT payment option). Further, I received a welcome package from an ins co I was actually not signed up with (Western General), and then rec'd call after call from the office re: non payment on Stonewood and on these calls, they could not even articulate why they were even calling, especially since these calls were regarding a policy I was under the impression had cxled (I never even rec'd a new Stonewood Policy packet - only one for Western General - which was not the company I was signed up with), so I did not understand since they were calling me about a policy I was under the impression was cancelled, especially when I've been paying via EFT since 203. Go online and get your insurance from Ge*co or something. I did and actually saved myself the hassle of dealing with a bunch of arrogant dudes, and saved myself $50. read more
