My insurance was up for renewal with Bridger Insurance who was charging me roughly $700 total split at the beginning of this month and at the end of this month, which is why I wanted to make the switch because it's a renewal and I should not have to put a down payment again. I already had an issue last year with freeway insurance when I was charged $1,000 for insurance and a broker fee I was never told about. I spoke with Yvette Acosta this time who said she can rewrite my policy and it would be cheaper. I was charged roughly "$500 for the month". As I was signing the documents and reviewing them I seen another charge at the end of this month for roughly 300, which is more than my old policy to continue it. That's a total of 900 to start it. I asked to call back and I looked into it further and saw that the new policy was more expensive. What they did was ask for AN EVEN HIGHER DOWNPAYMENT to make my monthly payments look cheaper. I called back and to my surprise she was in "meetings constantly" after taking my initial $500 payment. After multiple attempts to speak with her I finally got through and confronted her about it. I was told that the payment was $500 this month of May. She was never transparent/clear that I was going to be charged an additional payment of $300 at the end of May. She was rude and told me she did not know where "my math came from". She added everything up herself and saw that this new policy was indeed more expensive than my old one. I asked for my $500 back which they submitted a claim but now can take up to two weeks. Don't come here! Not worth the hassle. I wasted 4 hours of my day. read more

Horrible experience. I purchased insurance at the beginning of may and the agent at freeway explained to me and my family that we were going to be charged roughly $642. We could either pay it upfront or in two installments. I went ahead and paid the full $642. Later in may I was being charged an additional $382 by the insurance company. The agent never mentioned that they were going to charge us a $250 broker fee. So I basically paid roughly over a $1,000 in the first month. She was not transparent about the entire cost. I filled a complaint and nothing was done. Don't waste your time coming here. They are scammers. I have a clean record: no tickets,DUIs, etc. They do not value their customers and charge outrageous prices and aren't upfront about broker fees or anything else. Go somewhere else! I will be canceling with them and will be looking somewhere else. read more

I recently obtained insurance from Alex at this location a few weeks ago. Despite sending him a text message, which I gave him a few days to respond to, he has not replied or shown any concern regarding the status of my insurance. Unfortunately, I will have to take matters into my own hands. Previously, he had provided me with a quote, for which I paid half upfront. I was scheduled to make another payment two weeks later, but I contacted the office to request a payment date extension, as Alex had suggested. However, instead of accommodating my request, he (pressured) me to make a payment that was not due until the 26th!!! Upon contacting a different Freeway Insurance location, I was informed that my payment was indeed not due until the 26th, it was the beginning of the month 2"when they informed me!! yet Alex continued to pressure me to pay prematurely. I sent him a message inquiring about his actions, and he has since ignored me. As a result, I feel compelled to share my experience, warning others to exercise caution when dealing with this location, as they may say one thing but do another. read more

All I want to tell people is that free way insurance is running a Scam they tell you you don't need drivers license but you do need to put down a bigger down payment and then a couple of months after when the insurance because freeway insurance is just a broker on the real insurance tells you you need to provide a drivers license or your Premium is gonna go up 400 more and if you don't pay that they're going to cancel your policy I tried calling Freeway insurance and all they did was give me the runaround LUIS DIAS DID MY Policy and Light in my face when I told him many times was I going to need a driver License he said no only a bigger down payment I wonder how many more scams they're running over there I called the freeway insurance customer service and all I could get was the run around talking about their my last point of contact ridiculous I doubt Antonio last name was freeway read more

This insurance company is the worst. The guy Daniel Hernandez, took my money and I was never even able to use the insurance. He spelled my name wrong, even tho I pointed out before I paid $300 for my SR22 insurance. He told me he was gonna be able to edit it after I submitted the payment because he didn't wanna start over. He spelled my name wrong and put my address wrong. After I put in my payment, he tries to edit the information I pointed out before and he assured me he would be able to change it. All a sudden, he's not able to edit the information. He tells me he needs to get in contact with his manager to edit it and submit it to the dmv. Soo the next day I call the dmv, he still didn't put it in. Soo I show up to the dmv to get pay the fees to get my licenses back, because I already completed everything else I needed to do. I find out he had at least submitted it. But to my surprise the DMV WOULDNT EVEN ACCEPT IT BECAUSE HE DIDNT SPELL MY NAME RIGHT AND THE ADDRESS WASNT EVEN RIGHT. Sooo all because he basically sold me some fake insurance that did nothing for me and stole my $300. All because of his fake insurance, I was not able to get my car out the impound at Jan's towing, even tho I already installed the interlock device on the car at the tow yard, and completed the classes. Soo he ultimately made me lose my car to the tow truck and he prevented me from getting my licenses back. And would you believe this.... Freeway insurance collections is still hitting me up to pay the balance of this fake ass insurance that I was never able to use. It's crazy. Blows my mind how they can do that... and still harass people like they deserve my money, like they earned it for nothing or some shit. I don't know. And they already cancelled out my insurance policy like a week after I found out I wasn't able to use it and never received a refund.
