I put a deal in this title company which is part of East Texas Title Company as listing broker. The deal closed and funded. Everyone got paid except me. Sent an email with no response from Celia Flowers or the escrow officer. Called the office and spoke to a manager; she said call back tomorrow. Really? Its been ten days now. Still no money. Never in 35 years of deal making have I had to ask for my money from a title/escrow company...I guess my next step is to file a complaint with TDI to exhaust any administrative cure.
Follow up. Got a call from escrow agent. She overnighted the check and I received. She apologized and was very nice. read more
