I can describe my experience with 2 words: NO SERVICE. I contacted the company freelance double glazing in Partick (Glasgow) a month ago saying that I needed the glass window of my kitchen to be replaced. I spoke with Martin, the owner of the company, I said to him that I needed the job to be done in the early morning, before 8.00 according to my job. He said that it wouldn't have been a problem. His staff went to see the glass and charge me 20 pounds deposit. after having collected the 20 pounds they said that the owner would have contacted me the day after but actually he had never done.
I waited a few days and then I phoned the office and I spoke with a guy who told me that in his opinion they guys that change the glasses wouldn't have been able to do the job before 8.00. I said to him what Martin told me regarding the time in the morning and the guy said that he would have contacted Martin and that he would have let me know sth within 1 hour. I was never contacted back that day.
I waited again a few days and then I call the office back on Friday and
I spoke with Martin. he said that he would have called me on a Monday next week and let me know which day the job could have been done.
On Monday he phoned me at 5:00 pm and unfortunately I wasn't able to answer. I called him back 2 minutes after his phone call at 5.02 pm but was too late he wasn't in the office anymore.
I left a voice message asking him to call me back but he has never done.
I literally chase Martin for the next few days but he had never got back to me.
I called the office on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and I was only able to talk with the guy that work for him. I was told by this guy for 3 days always the same: I ll call Martin and I will call you back. Nobody ever call me back, no the guy nor Martin. I even left other vocal messages but nothing
On Friday I decided to try for the last time and on the phone there was of course the same guy but not Martin
I told him to say to Martin that if he wasn't interested in the job I could have asked to somebody else.
Finally around 3 o clock Martin phoned me
He was absolutely impolite with me, he was offended by what I have said to his guy on the phone. he started complaining that he phoned me on a Monday but I never replied.
I tried to reason with him saying that I phoned him back after 2 minutes and then he complained saying that he close the office at 5.00
and that I shouldn't have expected to find him after 5.00 pm.
So why did he phone me at 5.00 pm just when he was about to close the office then? why didn't he phoned me earlier? it's a baffling mystery!!!
When I said that I left him quite a few vocal messages he told me rudely that I was laying and he asked me to tell him the name of the guy that I spoke with on the phone.
At that point I had enough the conversation was getting ridiculous
I said to him that he could have kept the 20 pounds and that I would have written this review and I hanged out the phone
This was my experience with this company.
In my opinion they are absolutely unreliable and Martin his also impolite and arrogant
