Now we have grandchildren reaping the benefits of Preschool, Upward Sports & Children's Ministry. One of our granddaughters particularly loves one of the great summer camps (Drama Camp) offered every year. There is also a terrific basketball camp offered that teaches great skills and sportsmanship. Sunday worship is uplifting, inspiring & the music is loved by many. This church is community driven with all of their outreach programs.

I've seen two kids trip at that hole. I'm surprised no one has broken their foot. if you want to make people pay to use your fields and facilities, some field/concession maintenance goes a long way. this place is an absolute joke.

My husband and I are new to this area and were looking for a church. We liked all aspects of the…read morechurch service except for the praise music. The music was way too loud for us. The reason why we kept going back is because we wanted to find a way to be a part of the service without compromising our ears. The first time we attended, a volunteer graciously offered to get us ear plugs which was very nice of her but we didn't feel we should need ear plugs to attend service. Next week, we decided to try the common area that's outside the auditorium but the sound on the all the televisions were distorted. We then got the idea to step outside the building and sit at a picnic table and that worked. However, we didn't feel that was a long-term solution, especially in inclement weather. At this point, we decided to continue our search for another church.

I attended Browns Bridge for the purpose of finding more than entertainment and safety. I watched as a talented group of young people enjoyed playing a couple of reasonably good, but not spiritually uplifting or even spiritually oriented songs. I watched and listened carefully, as a minister from an affiliated church spoke on screen amid comfy slogans and decorated with rainbows. But he wasn't there. No minister was there to pray or even speak live. He was at one of his other churches in another part of the city. He mentioned the Father and the Son a couple of times, as he instructed the congregation on accepting the diversity and politics of others. While I agree that God wants us to love one another, and to understand political or other differences, I also know that Jesus was sent to instruct. Jesus wanted his followers to show by both teaching and example, God's plan for our world. More particularly, how that world is influenced by our individual lives. We are clearly instructed in God's word, on many issues. God's word does not mention diversity of humanity, or many of the issues that Christians face today. After thousand's of years of human and political change, God's word has presented the standards first established in the 10 Commandments, and fulled by the Grace as a result of Jesus's life, death, and resurrection. On screen the minister missed an opportunity in his message to instruct the congregation on Christian values while acknowledging that we are to love one another. Rather than instruct on God's word and how it applys to todays social situations, the congregation was told to accept things as they are. The message was entirely oriented around fund raising. The funds raised were to be distributed to socially active liberal organizations. One of those organizations is currently being investigated for having raised tens of millions that were apparently proven to be fraudulently used to enrich the organization's founders and to support such actions as rioting in the streets. Rather than just post a review that denounces this church, I wrote a thesis on what this church appears to value. If you want a place to socialize, and get a feeling of just belonging to a group of well intended and decent people, you'll love it here. If you are seeking a Christian church with traditional values, you may want to consider visiting other places. But monetarily supporting rainbows and "mostly peaceful" riots burning down cities is not my thing. If you want a place to worship God, and to share or be instructed in His word, you may want to visit other churches.
