Went in to order a new door shelf for my refrigerator and while I doubted they were going to have one in stock they were more then happy to help me find one to order and have it shipped to them to hold for me until i get back into town. My first experience with going into their store but just looking around it seems like they are a VERY well stocked rv parts store and not just the typical rv maintenance and cleaning stuff you find at other locations. while the technician was very personable and seemed like a good kid, the ac work performed took a lot longer than it should have and it seemed like he was guessing what the issue was but that annoyance was secondary to the manager or owner, Wesley. that man lies with an ease I've never seen before and if he comes around, don't leave him alone around your wife or daughter. he seems to think he has the right to flirt with whoever he chooses regardless of their relationship status or age read more

Terrible job on our roof replacement. We accepted it on the condition they return and make it right. Subsequently they agreed to come back and re-do some parts of it, and we declined. Wes concurred it was an "un-professional" installation, but shrugged it off by saying "it shouldn't leak". Our only saving grace is we retained 10%, which we gladly would've paid them had they intended to make it right. Wes sold me on his personality, however, I admit I was fooled. It's been a couple of years and i's only leaked once, but it's an absolute eyesore of an installation. read more

Removed our rv furnace for them to repair, after waiting a week for an appt to install it, waited 8 hrs for Technician. Called the office, was told they didn't have the part. After another week technician came out. Put it in and didn't work. Technician had mentioned being shocked when replacing brand new board in and not bench testing it. After 2 hrs another technician was called. We had an appointment to go to and we left our cell number with them. Next day we called and the bill was 2x quoted price. Said the board was bad. After attempting to explain to office person, requested to talk to owner. No luck. Neighbors beside us are in a battle after their price has more than tripled. Seems they use inexperienced people and want you to pay for their training. Would never have this company do anything. read more

I want to deeply thank Wes and his crew at "FREEDOM RV SERVICE" in Port Aransas, TX. Our heater pump carriage broke into pieces (plastic of course) and they were on the job immediately, even with sub-freezing temps & bad winds hitting our area. The office ladies were very professional and helpful. Even though they were very busy, Jesse & Austin came to our RV within a couple of hours after I first called. The owner, Wes came to check on us the very next day, since the repais involved our heater motor & carriage. Thank goodness we had our propane heat for back up! Then today, Wes came out and did the repair & install, without ANY deposit! They'll get our info over the phone afterward for the invoice & bill. THANK YOU SO MUCH to everyone at FREEDOM RV SERVICE. I cannot say enough about these people - we had a problem with our awning - of course over the holiday weekend. They were there bright and early Monday morning and replaced the motor. No price gouging as the other company wanted to charge us 3x the money. Girls in-the office were wonderful, funny and kind. While on our 3 month cruise through Texas we had our RV washed and waxed by Cassy's RV Scrub Monkeys (fantastic crew) and they found a problem on our roof in which the front of the roof was separating from the front cap. We contacted Freedom RV repair and the repair crew came out early the next morning. They fixed the area with a secure patch so that we could get the RV to the dealer to repair. Crew did a great repair fast and efficiently. We highly recommend this company. read more

I called to get my Norcold refrigerator repaired. The tech came out and never even tested the unit. He opened the door and saw a hot spot on some contact parts and immediately said "This unit is toast and will have to be replaced" I was given a quote for $7000-$8000 for replacement. I was then charged an $85 service charge. I later went on line and downloaded a service manual for the unit; I did some test and replace a circuit board for $120 which took me about 10 minutes to replace. Unit works fine now. Freedom RV is listed by Norcold as a service dealer so they should be competent in repairing them. I contacted them to complain and at least get my money back but was told they were contacting the manufacturer because they were told by them they had made the right diagnosis and were waiting for a reply., I have still not heard back from them and am out $85 for a five minute service call where nothing was repaired read more
