We have dealt with ACRV for years and several thousand dollars later. Bought a new heater/ac floor model November of 2023. Sixteen months later it died. We paid $5800. for it. They jerked us around for the paid receipt so we could apply the extended warranty. Finally go that. Ordered through another local RV service only to find out the unit is $3800. not the $5800. that we paid ACRV. ACRV is a rip off. We are finished with them. read more

I've had ACRV out twice since I've been at Mustang Island State Park. 1st was to replace my AC motor. They came within 24 hours after I called, had the motor on the truck, installed it in under 30 minutes...how COOL :) is that? 2nd time was to repair damage to my tire well as a result of a blown tire. These guys did a fantastic job. They fabricated a new 'well' with aluminum sheeting, replaced some wood pieces that were damaged, caulked & sealed inside and out and applied flashing tape to the underneath to further waterproof it. We called them for an issue with our trailer brake indicator from our truck and a broken toilet flange. We told them that we had already had a tech check the wires with a multimeter (cost only $75 with someone else) and that the truck was checked at the dealership and what we needed was someone to check our wires underneath for cringes and possibly replace our 7-point umbilical connection. They weren't willing to replace the umbilical cord, so proceeded to do a really costly multimeter check again ($160) and tell us to bring it into the shop: we don't have the luxury of another place to go so not an option. They did jack up all of the tires (without warning us to, I assume, check the brakes).No problem, but just warn us. But they set the tire back without the leveler and it put a stress on our stabilizers. They did fix the toilet flange (cost $120) and took all of 5 mins, but we get it. We thought we may have had a roof leak issue, so they spent 10 mins on the roof. And they sealed NOTHING as the owner said in the response (another $60) All in all I felt that they didn't hear me or want to fix the issues that we have been the most perplexed with and charges us $380. And we are all of 1.5 miles from their shop, so why charge the $10 fuel charge? I felt ripped off. Unless you are desperate, have anything done after leaving the island. read more

My AC was broken and they came out, helped me with the warranty paperwork needed by my manufacturer, and replaced the AC. Eddie the tech answered all my questions and even helped me with my fridge that didn't want to run on propane and explained how to get it to work. They were out a few days later working on my neighbors water heater and made a point to ask me how my AC was doing. Super reasonable price and minimal charge for the mobile service call. Had an inverter go out. Stopped by the shop, ordered a new one. Price was a bit more than Amazon, but I expect that from a repair shop., and he got me the part in under 24 hours... Jeff the repair guy called and set up a day to install. They called again to see if he could do it a day earlier! They picked up the part and installed it in the fading sunlight. At the end, I was holding a flashlight for them, but they wanted to get the job done. Would I call these guys again; hell yes. Would I recommend them, hell yes. Very impressed by the fast and reliable service. Called them because my ac had an electrical smell coming from it and I was concerned with a fire. So I shut it down at 5am and called them at 8:30am. We had an air conditioner leak/clog which was causing the runoff to leak inside the trailer. We also had the refrigerator quit. The guys that came out to fix both issues were awesome! Called Jeff b/c they were referred by the resort. The first time they worked with us we were pretty happy with the quick response, not so much the price tag. The next time we called them was for a major job. We ended up going with another company due to 1) Lack of communication. Three weeks of trying to get status/scheduling. 2) Crazy-high numbers on his estimate, and 3) Did I mention communication? A major part of the job wasn't noted/remembered from initial discussion, leading to an even higher number and subsequent confusion with the insurance co. Zero communication re repair to my RV. After promising updates on an estimate, etc. no call back.

I would love to give great feed back, but I cannot. I have tried very hard to get them to come out and work on my RV! I have been waiting over 2 weeks for even a call back from these people! I have went in to their store, called them 3 times on the phone, gave them a list with my phone number in person at a site down the street from me, where they were working, still no response. I will wait to get home and go to my reputable dealership! Should at least have the courtesy to say they do not want to work on warranty job if that is the case! It is a 2019 Heartland Landmark! So in summation, if I could, I would leave a minus 3 star rating! Just to respond to the owners response! I had talked with him over 2 weeks ago! NOTHING was mentioned at that time about any vacation, sorta ruined mine now, since every time it rains I have to bring in my slide! Happen to be on our way to Georgia and stopped at mustang island forbthe night. But when we went to unhook 5th wheel jacks wouldnt lift the trailer. The gear box was stripped. It was a sunday afternoon so all we could do was call around and leave messages. I called to have my AC looked at because it was a bit warm inside my RV. I was notified that my ACs were working good and that all I needed to be done was too close my vents which they did. That cost me $124. So much for the reasonable rates! Now my AC is leaking water, making a loud noise, and freezing up. I think I am going to troubleshoot it myself this time. I can't afford any more reasonable rates. read more
