I called Hal yesterday morning to advise him about one of my dogs collar and believe it or not he sent the replacement overnight and it arrived this morning. Hal and his staff have always gone above and beyond anytime I needed his service for no fault of his products but as a homeowner we make changes to are property and needed to move the perimeter closer. Hal sent his staff out the following day took care of the issue and did an amazing job. I have had this fence for more than 10 years now. We have boxers and apparently they are one of the top breeds that have difficulty with invisible fences. I was told this prior to my purchase and boy did they all live up to it! Taking the zap is worth it for them. Luckily I was given support and it made all the difference. But then the next Boxer, using that same strategy, still would get out. Hal gave me another strategy for that boxer and it worked! I have found my calls get answered quickly and employees are knowledgeable and professional. read more

By far one of the most honest and customer based service companies I have used in a very long time! I had some existing equipment that I did not realize it would work with new electric fence wiring and rather than trying to sell me all new equipment, Hal simply explained that I could take with me what I already had.. Not only that, but when I got to the new house, I realized that electric fence wiring was already in place but with a different company. This incredible company, instead of trying to push me into installing new wiring anyway, check to make sure that everything was working properly. I had also contracted with them to place flags and do the training with my dogs which his number one guy did perfectly! I cannot say enough good things about these guys and certainly will refer them to anyone who needs an electric fence and of course hire them in the future should I have the need! read more

STAY AWAY- DO NOT BUY THIS!!!! Only works 1/3 of the time....Dogs just got out AGAIN!!! I'd give zero stars if I could. The guys Hal sent out to do our fence seemed unskilled and unsure of the answers to questions we had. On top of that my dogs got 10 minutes of training. That was it. I was told I was to train them from that 10 min session-they're good. What? Now mind you I know many people with more reputable brands of electric fence and they were appalled to hear this- as their dogs received HOURS of training over several weeks. Furthermore we have had nothing but problems with the dogs getting through the fence because we are finding the collars only work sometimes so our dogs are learning to gamble it won't shock them. I should've listened to advice to go with any other brand- but stupidly I thought it's not rocket science. But for these guys apparently it IS. So I've had to spend even MORE money fencing in the yard with an actual fence. Horrible experience. I read reviews before I went with this company and in retrospect- they must have been paid to lie. This is a trash product or the techs don't have a clue what their doing- either way DO NOT BUY THIS!!! I'm out $1500 for total crap that gives me zero piece of mind. read more

Freedom Fence did a great job installing the invisible fence. It was a challenging install with a few tricky areas that I was worried about. Joe and John got it done right. And training was a snap. Then I had a slight issue with the collar. I called Hal, the owner. He was about to get in his car to drive the hour to see what was wrong but I was able to resolve it over the phone with him.
