When planning a project, he listens to my needs and concerns and then offers a reasonable, cost-effective solution. His work-orders are descriptive, easy to understand, and clearly itemized and priced. He keeps his appointments, and his associates are all knowledgeable, hard-working laborers, much like Jared himself. The job is always thorough, to my satisfaction, and guaranteed or he personally will make it right. If all business owners had the same level of concern as Jared Dean of Ace Grading & Landscaping, feedback and reviews would be totally unnecessary. I urge my neighbors to consider Ace Grading as their first choice for landscaping needs.

We had some days when workers did not show up at all and some days with only one worker. The owner, Jared Dean was not there to supervise the workers. There were changes in the original plan many times when we came home from work. After 2 months of work during the severe drought in the fall of 2016, the job was pronounced overbudget and "done". We had damage to the house from heavy equipment, damage to our trees, cable lines cut and then cut again despite marked utilities and even had to build out around utilities in the middle of the larger wall. We were told repeatedly that he would come back when it finally rained to fix any problems and he did once but bigger and bigger problems continued to surface. I have deadman beams that are not covered with earth or gravel, the wall is crooked and shifting, the parking is not where it was supposed to be and way larger than requested, unevenly colored contrete and drainage issues. It is, what it is. Don't make the same mistake I did. Get a contract. Insist on paying with a credit card that will back you up.

The problem was the sky light was not installed properly and caused leaks. The heat and sun has dried our caulk and cracks have formed. Caulking like we did before would be necessary when new leaks form. We wanted his thoughts and appreciate his honesty. He did not try to sell us something we did not need but explained the situation so we could understand. We look for contractors that are knowledgeable and honest and he rocks. We would highly recommend him.

She had to stop working and went to talk to the roofer that said he had an appointment with me at 5:30. I live by my calendar and I did NOT have an appointment. Some telemarketer gave RRG my address and they were waiting in my driveway while I was at work. The roofer had my phone number, but didn't even call me. I tell him on the phone to email, but he insists on coming back next week. His 1 and only text to me was "Don't waste your time." so I'm passing this on to all the other future customers... Don't waste your time. I have talked to many roofers, and he was second to worst with customer service. I went thru my doorbell cam recordings and found the guy. Why didn't he just call me?! You can see the phone in his hand, and he has my number... Edit: look at the company response. This is their customer service. Maybe they will learn from this experience, call/text the next customer about time of meeting, and treat the customer with respect. I serve my customers, and I respect their time and decisions.

There were some bumps on the road and the job took longer than expected, but at the end our deck came out beautifully. Nathaniel and his crew gave everything they got and worked super hard to finish the job successfully. Very honest and hard workers, reasonable prices and good work ethic. Great workmanship. We would definitely hire them again for our next project!

Beware of Daniel Terry of DLT Handyman. I hired him to paint my living room and install ceiling…read morefans last December. I asked if he could start after Christmas. He said he could complete the job before Christmas. Well, Christmas came and went, and the work was nowhere near complete. During this time, he repeatedly asked for additional money, which I paid. At the same time, he began taking on other jobs and would only show up to work on my house intermittently. My home became unlivable due to sheetrock dust covering everything. The work area included my living room, dining area, and kitchen, and I was forced to stay confined to my bedroom. He had promised to move and cover my belongings to protect them and complete the work in sections. That did not happen. Instead, dust and paint spread throughout the house. By mid-January, the job was still unfinished. He had disappeared for a little while. I thought he was working other jobs. But actually- he was in jail and has been in jail multiple times. Domestic violence. When he returned, he told me he had other jobs and would return in two weeks to finish, leaving me unable to properly live in my home. In February, I became seriously ill with COVID. While I was at the hospital, he showed up at my house. I did not know he was coming to work. But someone was there and let Daniel. When I returned home that evening, he was in my driveway, angry that I was not there to pay him and insisted the job was complete and demanded payment. I wrote him a check. I was very sick. I went straight to bed. The next day, it was clear the work was not complete. There were unfinished areas, and my home was covered in sheetrock dust and paint. Paint overspray was on windows, cabinets, and furniture, and there were large areas of paint on the flooring. When I contacted him, he initially said he would return. The night before he was supposed to come back, I sent a punch list of items that still needed to be completed. He responded angrily with a F-you, accused me of "nitpicking and criticizing his work" and refused to return to finish the job. As it stands, the work remains incomplete, and my home has been left with significant mess. I hired him off Nextdoor where he had some good reviews. I did not know that sometimes, Nextdoor removes bad reviews. So I didn't know. I didn't see his picture on The Georgia Gazette either.

very bad experience...a tile worker cut one of our pipes in the bathroom wall (near the kitchen…read morewhere they were working) which caused a water leak which eventually turned into water damage and mold in the kitchen cabinets....it was a complete mess...also, we paid for a tile floor job and they sub-contracted a young guy to do the work...after the job was complete, another contractor we hired to do some other work noticed air pockets in the tile work...the floor had not been properly adhered to the sub floor causing major air gaps...long story short - we had to have the whole floor redone by someone else...eventually had their insurance pay up and filed a lawsuit to get money for the mold and water damage from one of their men cutting a pipe by accident when he tried to remove an old backsplash....avoid this company as no one comes out to check their work or ask questions as to the quality of the work being done! BEWARE!!

I needed some updates to my kitchen and had some idea but not totally. The designers Jenifer and Justin were great in suggesting things and working with my budget. Unfortunately ding install there was an accident with my existing granite bar top and it broke. They tried to match it and almost installed it but I didn't want it because it was noticeably different. They decided to replace the bar top as well as the entire kitchen island with granite that I chose myself. They were also sensitive to my schedule as I had family from out of town arriving. They finished the day before and it was absolutely beautiful. I'll definitely work with them again as I have my master bath and closets to do next.
