This store is basically a smaller version of Granny May's, without the intimidating dark colour scheme and sickening dirty gifts. The brightly lit, more child-friendly version offers a variety of gifts and cards. The prices are pretty great as well, with a rack of greeting cards out the front boasting the friendly cost of one dollar. This stood out as a particularly great feature to me; I find it hard to fathom how card company's can summon the nerve to charge up to six dollars for a simple card, especially when they don't even come with tacky music or pop-up features.
The staff were lovely here, very helpful and kind. The store is small so the selection on offer is not enormous, but it might be a good place to start if you're searching blindly for a present. read more
