Absolutely TERRIBLE. If you are a female take your car elsewhere. My girlfriend took her car in to have her brakes looked at. They told her she needed all new brakes and rotors. They said it would not be safe to drive. The cost was going to be over $900.00. We took it to get a second opinion and she just needs the front breaks. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! DONT GO HERE. I took my car here for an alignment. They called and said I needed something replaced which would make my bill from $90 to $448. Then after I pick up my car, it's running WORSE than before. All of a sudden both of my shocks are leaking instead of just the right one, which I knew about. When I returned asking them what happened, they went from saying my back end is blown out, to saying I just need shocks replaced. Daughter's car needed some work done and an oil change. They messed up in the scheduling so did not have me down when they told me to come in. Had to come back 3 hours later and they were not able to get work completed due to it being a hybrid car. Sent me home w radio and backup camera not working. 3rd time back they were able to finish the work and get oil change done. I asked for a discount on the oil change for having to come back 3 times and the manager said they couldn't do that. Would NEVER recommend this place to anyone! read more

My car power steering has been leaking for a while and due to covid, my husband and I decided to hold it off. We finally decided to get it fix along with oil change and drop it off on Tuesday, June 1, 2021. We were told that they could get it done that day but got a call saying that they were backed up so it was pushed the day after. Received a call saying that the car tires threads were showing and they recommended to change the belt due to the power steering leakage so added another day to get it change too. Just picked my car up today, Thursday 6/3/2021 (also received a call saying car can be picked up but was recommended that the harmonic balancer needed to be replace which is roughly about another $200 but we decline). I'm not updating on the work that they've done since I will wait for a few more days BUT upon looking through the car window while my husband went to pay the bill, I saw that things that were supposed to be in the glove box were out all over the seat and floor. Looks like someone went through it. Went inside, told my husband and the guy that was checking him out came too. We unlock the car so I went through my glove box, and yes, someone went through it. The glove box above (odyssey van) has stuff missing. 2 of my cd album were out so I checked and my gps that I stored in there is gone. My bluetooth receiver is gone too. Some stuff on the side of the door were missing too. I'm more pissed and disappointed at the fact that my car was in their care so I wasn't expecting to be missing stuff. NEVER AGAIN will I go back there. The only thing we were told is show them receipts of what's missing and they will reimburse us. Obviously stuff that are years old, I won't have any receipts for it. Aside from that, they said they have no camera outside. AGAIN, NEVER WILL I GO THERE OR RECOMMEND THIS SHOP TO ANYONE. BEWARE THAT ONCE YOU LEAVE YOUR CAR IN THEIR CAR, DON'T EXPECT TO HAVE YOUR ITEMS INTACT. Will give another updated review on how the car is. read more

Have had zero issues with Fred's Break and Alignment. I've had a number of different services performed on my two vehicles and they've always been able to take care of everything in a timely manner and for much less compared to the dealer. read more

On my vehicle repair bill was a charge for checking and cleaning the fuel pump connections. A short four months later, our car stopped working again. Since Freds didnt fix the problem we took the car to Matts Repair. $700 later and less than two miles down the road, the car stopped again. Matts then said it was the fuel pump, which they had said $700 before was fine. So we took it to Courtesy Car Care. They said the connecting wire harness was so brittle it crumbled in his hands. Fuel pump was fine, but since this is a common problem with Rendevous the new wiring set up was no longer made, but he fabricated a new connector for us and now it runs like a charm again. Freds missed it, Matts missed it, but Courtsey Car Care was on the ball. It cost us another $500, but its fixed. read more

Finally an automotive shop I can TRUST!! These guys are AWESOME, I took my car in because it was running rough. They diagnosed the issue properly & had it repaired the same day. I had taken my car to 2 other places and they both told me different solutions it "could be" but they could not give me an exact answer. Went there to get a coolant flush and new water pump seal. I talked to my old mechanic who told me this should cost no more than $300. They called me a few hours after a dropped it off they told me I also needed a new thermostat and brake line and the bill will be around $600. I told them that the other two items I will have taken care of somewhere else and I will not pay that. They then called me back not even two minutes later stating that if they don't do the brake line and just the other items it came to $380. My brother went and bought the brake line himself and put it on and it only cost $20. I'm assuming they tried charging me double because I'm a girl. I would not recommend this place, they will take advantage of you! read more

I had an oil leak on my Ford Taurus and they told me it was my oil pan that was leaking and needed to be replaced. But in order to replace it, they had to "break a part" to get to the oil pan which would drive the cost up to $1000. My boyfriend was also with me to hear this. We were EXTREMELY skeptical so I called the dealership where my car was purchased and asked a relative who is a mechanic if they, indeed, had to break a part to reach my oil pan. They LAUGHED and were not surprised when I told them Fred's Brake and Alignment quoted me this. They are well-known liars and I feel stupid for going to them previously for my auto needs. Don't make the same mistake I did. Especially if you're a woman. Side note: they also told me I needed my ball joints replaced which of course, was quoted hundreds. I told them no. That was almost three years ago and I've been to a few car places since then. I have not once been told that my ball joints were loose. INFURIATING that a business like this is still open! Also, very rude and condescending on the phone. Just the worst. read more

I was Charged for the so-called "free road side assistance," because I called the number that the guy at the shop counter gave me for the tow instead of the claim number I was somehow supposed to know about. I was also charged for services performed without my knowledge. When I complained, they told me that I was lucky that they didn't charge me more. (Supposedly it costs $800 to diagnose a worn out ignition key.) As a returning customer I felt taken advantage of, and it really seemed like they didn't care at all. This place is a great example of "if it seems too good to be true, it probably is." Find another garage if you want to save yourself a ton of hassle and money. read more

Know the family pretty well, and I have brought my car their just once. They double all the prices, and will screw you over at the last minute when you agree to have them do the work. Buyer beware. In addition, they steal over time payments from their employees. They have kept money "off the books" to prevent paying taxes. They extort their kids. Just bad people, and worse business people. read more

I've been taking my car to Fred's since I turned 16. They have been nothing but honest and up front with me on all my repairs.
