When I looked uncertain about how much I needed them let out by, they got me to put them on and measured - and they were very much right. On top of that, when I asked for a (what I thought unreasonable) date for them to be ready, they not only said yes straight away, but the delivered. Especially when it comes to his dark coloured trousers. They have an offer of 5 shirts for 6£, but they now give us the price of 1.2£ a shirt no matter whether we give them in multiples of 5 or not. One of the benefits of being a regular. Service is quick and they pack clothes well on hangers and in plastic. Thy recycle both, so we just return them with the next bag of clothes. The worst tailor / business owner I have ever encountered. Took a suit in for alteration, was told…read moreit would take 3 days. 6 weeks and countless excuses later I manage to get the suit back. Some alterations were done ok, others done very badly. The one I had the most problem with was that the sleeves were very puckered where they had been taken out, the body altered and sleeves sown back into the shoulder. Understandably after waiting so long and with the resulting quality of work I really didn't want him to do anymore on the suit, it's unwearable as it is, but someone else hopefully might still be able to fix it. I went back and asked for money back on badly done repair, explaining all the reasons why I didn't want him to try and fix it himself. After a heated argument, he still really didn't understand why a) I didn't want him to carry out the work b) why I wanted to get it fixed elsewhere, his reply to which was that no one else in the area could do it and c) why I wanted some money back to pay for the further work needed. He blamed cheap material (for the record it was a £500 Paul Smith suit), and said I was just trying to get money. I was flatly and rudely refused any money back, there was no apology for the appalling service I had received and was told if I didn't like how he did business to f**k off and find another tailor. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!
