It wasn't going to be a big job, only about 56' of ornamental fencing and Penn Fencing scheduled our Estimator, Charlie to visit a few days after calling them in early March. We received the Estimate a few days later and the pricing was comparable to the other quotes we gathered. Penn Fencing came recommended to us by 3WS's Johnny Hartwell and we went with his advice and selected them for the work. It has only taken five (5) weeks for the materials to arrive and the install to be scheduled. Kevin and his two (2) man crew arrived promptly at 8:30am, to do the work and they were finished in about 90 minutes. No mess, no inconvenience, and they disposed of our old fencing for us. The fence looks great! I did have to go back and tighten a few screws, but it wasn't a big deal. We are very pleased with the job they did and would recommend them for your project.

Hello Jesse and Abby, Thank you for the opportunity to evaluate your fence. Upon inspection, we observed multiple issues that are contributing to the fence's failure: Post Alignment Issues: Several posts (approximately seven) are not properly plumb. While some posts appear level in one direction, they are out of alignment in others, indicating improper installation. Insufficient Post Support: We identified at least two posts where surrounding soil has settled significantly. This condition typically indicates that the posts were either not set in enough concrete or were set with insufficient depth for the material. Given the height of the fence, proper depth and adequate concrete footing are critical for long-term stability. Defective Panels: Two panels appear to be structurally compromised and may be manufacturer defects or the result of improper installation and stress. Based on these findings, the issues appear to stem from installation deficiencies rather than anything else. Due to the nature of the installation and the potential for additional damage during removal or repair, especially considering the materials used, we would not recommend partial repairs. In many cases like this, full replacement of the posts and panels may be necessary to ensure structural integrity. At this time, we must respectfully decline involvement in repairs or replacement of this fence. Given that the concerns appear to be related to the original installation, we recommend contacting the original contractor for resolution.
