Their first available appointment was a week out, probably because they are the ONLY electricians that actually answer the phone or return phone calls. Two gentlemen came out to my house and spent an hour or so checking each point in the current until they were able to identify the issue and fixed it quickly once located. All in all came out to about $100/HR. Both electricians were extremely nice, knowledgeable, and honest. I would use them again for sure.

Background: Needed to have 3 outdoor outlets installed but the wires had no power so I did a look up for electricians in Fleming Island and found QUICK ELECTRIC SERVICE. I prefer to use small, local businesses as much as possible and this family owned and operated company, just down the street from my house was perfect. Razvan and his son Nicholas were right on time, polite and knowledgeable. Called on Friday to set an appt. and they had availability at 1030 on Monday. After some small discussion on what I was intending to use the plugs for e.g. one will be plugged in full time for my Goldfish pond waterfall. They made a recommendation and traced the old wires getting nice outdoor weather proof outlets on their own 15 and 20 Amp circuits installed within an hour or so after a quick trip to Home Depot to make sure what they installed matched everything else. Small example of how I could see how much price they take in their work to go and get matching stuff rather than throw in whatever they had in the van. Once that was finished I asked if they could take a look at my daughter's room because one switched controlled the power to ALL of her wall outlets and the fan. Razvan identified multiple issues and troubleshot everything while Nicholas explained what he was doing and how this or that worked. They went well above and beyond as this ended up requiring a rewire of the switch, a wall outlet AND the entire ceiling fan to get it all working on a new two switch light switch. After receiving comparable estimates, we hired them to do a few kitchen and bath projects at our home. What also helped convince us to use Empire was the Yelp deal they are currently running: $60 for $120 worth of work! On the scheduled day, after having a job canceled, the two-man team arrived early. They looked over the work to be done and got started promptly. They were hard-working and thorough. Michele and I had a slight miscommunication about the color I preferred for the newly installed light dimmer plate. But I simply called the office and she personally drove to our home within the hour and dropped off the correct colored plate. That's what I consider exceptional customer service! The only thing I didn't care for was that one of the electrician techs smoked and took 2 or 3 "smoke breaks" while on the job. Electric work is charged by the half hour, so I didn't appreciate that he took those [expensive] breaks on my dime. Altogether though, I do recommend Empire for your electrical needs.
