Wow. I don't have enough good things to say about Empire Electric. My great experience started with talking to Michelle. I had called a few different electric companies in the area, and they all said they would have to quote me on price once they see what they had to do - not comforting! Michelle gave me the price, and then talked through what lights she would recommend for my situation. It was a huge help, considering I had never had lights installed before! Things only got better my day of service. First of all, two technicians arrived (John and Cameron), and surveyed what they had to do. I am a first time home buyer that knows NOTHING about fans, and John was so helpful in giving me advice on what length of drop pole I should use, and what would look nice. Then, the light switches were all screwed up, and they re-wired everything to make sense with the lighting I chose (I have 12' ceilings, so they made sure I had a switch for the light and a switch for the fan, so I don't have to climb on furniture to turn one on without the other!) I had purchased a chandelier from a boutique here in Jax, and I was missing a part for it - they went to Lowes for me to get it, and came back to install. They were both so kind and considerate, and I am so thrilled with my lights! To top it all off, they even cleaned up all of the dust that had fallen from drilling in lights! I am just so happy with everything, and would recommend them to anyone. Then, I had forgotten to buy the Yelp deal, and they let me buy it on the spot before applying it to my bill - which saved me $60! I am just so happy with everything, thank you Empire Electric! read more

After recently moving to the Jacksonville area and relocating to a high rise condo building on the river, I was in need of electrical help for a not-so-common request and called Empire Electric. I had purchased a seven-foot waterfall fountain that I wanted to place behind the master bathroom tub without the wires showing. I was looking for a very clean cut, professional look. This would require drilling a hole through the cabinet and drawing power from another source while hiding the wires. Empire Electric had no issue in fulfilling this request. They also wall mounted two large-screen televisions and hid the wires. This also turned out perfect! In addition, I was detained out of town the morning they were scheduled to do the work. Rather than reschedule, I allowed them to enter my unit and complete the work without me being there. No regrets at all! The work was very professionally done and there was not one sign of them even being there. They were extremely clean and tidy. I would not hesitate to call them again. read more

I own a business and was needing an electrician to set up 4 of my sinks to get power for tankless heaters. I found this business on yelp and they had really good reviews so I decided to give them a call. The woman (I wish I remembered her name) who answered the phone was extremely polite and enthusiastic, making me feel like I chose the right company for the job. She scheduled an electrician to give me a quote asap, and wanted to get the process going quickly to fit my needs. The quote was much more affordable then the others I had received. I scheduled a time for the job and they came in on time and before my business opened so it wouldn't disturb my clients. The guys were very polite and professional as well. I was overall extremely pleased and excited to have found a go to electrician! read more

Empire is hands down the best electrical company in NE Florida. Very educated and very communicative. They are very dependable and very reasonable on their prices. Rich, Michelle, Dave and Jon are all 100%. Very honest people. I have been doing business with this crew for 6 years and they have serviced over 100 properties for me, they have Never let me down. They arrive when they are supposed to and always find the problem fast and fix it even faster and more importantly fix the problem correctly. It is Very hard to find the qualities that this company has. You can look elsewhere all you want, you will be wasting your time. These are the people you want in your home or business. read more

Empire Electric was sent to install electric by the company I contracted with for an enclosed patio. I was impressed that the morning of their arrival I received a technician bio along with a picture of the technician. Steve and his son, Steve, arrived promptly and we're here for a minimum four hrs. During that time, both were polite and respectful of not only me but my property and four dogs that were having some anxiety with the ladders and tool boxes. They worked independently and even installed a new ceiling fan on the patio as they did the electrical. If I ever need electrical services in the future, I will contact Empire first. read more

We recently had to get our electrical panel replaced for a new circuit we needed since the existing panel was full and extremely old. Empire Electric provided a quote and date it was to be completed and both were met with no issues. The scope of work even changed in the middle of installation that required less work so they were kind enough to lower the installation charge. We did have an issue after the installation where a breaker kept tripping. I emailed them late on a Sunday night and they had a technician come by to fix it the next morning at no charge. I highly recommend them for all electrical work. read more

Patrick and Parker did an amazing job. On time and they were in and out in no time. They installed an outlet over the fire mantle to hide the tv cords. Polite and professional. Michelle was also extremely helpful getting them scheduled to come. She made sure we were their first stop so I could get on with my day. I bought the wrong tv wall mount, but when I find the right one I will definitely call them back! PLUS - they have an awesome coupon on Yelp. Thanks Patrick, Parker, and Michelle! read more

I absolutely LOVE working with everyone at Empire Electric. I am a real estate broker who specializes in Foreclosures and when I need safety permits completed to get the power turned on the staff in the office & electricians are communicative and detailed. The one that shocked me was when they had to get me through a safety permit and do repairs on a 1909 historic home. They were flawless, detailed and troubleshooted issues quickly. Empire Electric has been my go to company for years!! read more

I have used Empire Electric many times over the last several years and highly recommend them for any electrical needs. They always respond quickly and are very reasonably priced. I have gotten to the point where I don't need them to give me an estimate before doing work as I know the quality and price will be acceptable! I have recommended them to friends for bot commercial and residential projects and always get excellent reports back Great service and great pricing! read more

Absolutely great - the two electricians were professional, courteous, proficient, and had a good sense of humor! Did the job right and took the time to figure out where a strange "alarm" sound was coming from within the house (and it wasn't easy!) that started after a downed power line had been restored by the electric company. A section of the house did not have electricity and they fixed it all in record time. I am so pleased. I would recommend this company highly. read more

We had Empire Electric put an outdoor outlet in the back of our home. While they were here we asked if they could take a look at our kitchen island and a couple of the outlets in the kitchen have given us trouble for several years. They not only identified the issue and resolved but when we asked how much for this extra work they said no worries. We now have a working kitchen for the first time in forever and could not be happier. Thank you Empire Electric! read more

I contacted Empire to have my tesla charger installed in my garage. Keven, the electrician cam by with his helper. They were both professionals. I highly recommend Empire Electric. Their electricians were very courteous and provided very helpful advice on other work I needed. They were quick and I am pleased with the price. They replaced my entry light with a motion activated light and quickly repaired some outlets. I will be scheduling them again this year for some interior lighting upgrades and a new electrical panel in my 30+ year old townhome. Thank you. read more

I wanted some light fixtures switched out, and had a ceiling light that had been improperly installed by a prior owner. Based on Yelp reviews I called Empire, and I'm glad I did. The service was Great. Every person I spoke with and who came to my home was friendly and professional. They did the job very quickly, plus I used the Yelp coupon, so the price was more than fair. I will definitely be recommending Empire!! read more

Found those folks from a google search. Turned out to be one of the best searches I have ever done. Empire Eletric (Gary & Daniel) are prompt, honest, professional and affordable. A great experience from the 1st phone call, to the estimate, to the completed job. Chris, Joe and Joe showed up ready to work. They replaced all the light fixtures in our office areas. They were fast, efficient, cordial, and professional, respecting our daily work flow and customers. They will be our go to electricians for business and residential needs. Thank you guys! read more

Great service and work - could not bw happier with the thoughtful solutions/upgrades to the electric system in our newly purchased older North Buffalo house. Reasonable, personable, low key, considerate, meticulous, safety focused with quality control follow-up. What more could you ask for in electricians? Even my veteran electrician father would have approved. read more

Scott and Danny gave us yet more great Empire Electric service. They both got up in the attic (I won't go there!) to get the electric line from the panel, through the attic down to the lanai. Put the panel outside where we wanted it, and gave us plenty of wire for our hookup. We've been using EE for nearly 20 years - they have never disappointed us. read more
