Wow. I don't have enough good things to say about Empire Electric. My great experience started with talking to Michelle. I had called a few different electric companies in the area, and they all said they would have to quote me on price once they see what they had to do - not comforting! Michelle gave me the price, and then talked through what lights she would recommend for my situation. It was a huge help, considering I had never had lights installed before! Things only got better my day of service. First of all, two technicians arrived (John and Cameron), and surveyed what they had to do. I am a first time home buyer that knows NOTHING about fans, and John was so helpful in giving me advice on what length of drop pole I should use, and what would look nice. Then, the light switches were all screwed up, and they re-wired everything to make sense with the lighting I chose (I have 12' ceilings, so they made sure I had a switch for the light and a switch for the fan, so I don't have to climb on furniture to turn one on without the other!) I had purchased a chandelier from a boutique here in Jax, and I was missing a part for it - they went to Lowes for me to get it, and came back to install. They were both so kind and considerate, and I am so thrilled with my lights! To top it all off, they even cleaned up all of the dust that had fallen from drilling in lights! I am just so happy with everything, and would recommend them to anyone. Then, I had forgotten to buy the Yelp deal, and they let me buy it on the spot before applying it to my bill - which saved me $60! After recently moving to the Jacksonville area and relocating to a high rise condo building on the river, I was in need of electrical help for a not-so-common request and called Empire Electric. I had purchased a seven-foot​ waterfall fountain that I wanted to place behind the master bathroom tub without the wires showing​. I was looking for a very clean cut, professional look. This would require drilling a hole through the cabinet and drawing power from another source while hiding the wires. Empire Electric had no issue in fulfilling this request. They also wall mounted two large-screen​ televisions and hid the wires. This also turned out perfect! In addition, I was detained out of town the morning they were scheduled to do the work. Rather than reschedule, I allowed them to enter my unit and complete the work without me being there. No regrets at all! I own a business and was needing an electrician to set up 4 of my sinks to get power for tankless heaters. I found this business on yelp and they had really good reviews so I decided to give them a call. The woman (I wish I remembered her name) who answered the phone was extremely polite and enthusiastic, making me feel like I chose the right company for the job. She scheduled an electrician to give me a quote asap, and wanted to get the process going quickly to fit my needs. The quote was much more affordable then the others I had received. I scheduled a time for the job and they came in on time and before my business opened so it wouldn't disturb my clients. The guys were very polite and professional as well. I had my appointment this morning and two gentleman showed up. They were on time, polite, and explained everything. They troubleshooted the issue and we're able to fix my electrical problem. They took pictures of their work for documentation which was great to see. I have had my electrical issue for a while now and was hesitant to make an appointment with any company. Your company name was given to me as a recommendation and I am very happy I took it. Empire Electric was sent to install electric by the company I contracted with for an enclosed patio. I was impressed that the morning of their arrival I received a technician bio along with a picture of the technician. Steve and his son, Steve, arrived promptly and we're here for a minimum four hrs. During that time, both were polite and respectful of not only me but my property and four dogs that were having some anxiety with the ladders and tool boxes. They worked independently and even installed a new ceiling fan on the patio as they did the electrical. If I ever need electrical services in the future, I will contact Empire first. read more

We recently had to get our electrical panel replaced for a new circuit we needed since the existing panel was full and extremely old. Empire Electric provided a quote and date it was to be completed and both were met with no issues. The scope of work even changed in the middle of installation that required less work so they were kind enough to lower the installation charge. We did have an issue after the installation where a breaker kept tripping. I emailed them late on a Sunday night and they had a technician come by to fix it the next morning at no charge. Patrick and Parker did an amazing job. On time and they were in and out in no time. They installed an outlet over the fire mantle to hide the tv cords. Polite and professional. Michelle was also extremely helpful getting them scheduled to come. She made sure we were their first stop so I could get on with my day. Absolutely great - the two electricians were professional, courteous, proficient, and had a good sense of humor! Did the job right and took the time to figure out where a strange "alarm" sound was coming from within the house (and it wasn't easy!) that started after a downed power line had been restored by the electric company.
