They were wonderful though I didn't think much about it at those times since I didn't have anything to do with the planning. My sweet Mom passed away November 22, 2011 and my parents lived up north but we wanted the funeral through Phillips. That was a Tuesday evening and Thursday was Thanksgiving. I called Phillips and they sent a driver up to pick my Mom up which would be a good three hour drive in normal conditions. He said that the deer were out and all over the roads so he had to drive slowly. We were happy he made it safely. We asked him why it seems like so many people pass away in the winter. Does it just seem that way or is it true? He told us they do starting the Tuesday before Thanksgiving (the day my Mom passed) and going through the winter. When we came down to make arrangements, we told them we did not want the funeral on Monday as it was our Dad's birthday and that would be hard for him and us also. They helped us make the arrangements with the cemetery. My parents lived in and my Dad still lives in an Amish Community and is friends with many Amish people. Since Mom passed away, Dad started a taxi service for the Amish. They hire him to drive them to work, shopping, doctor appointments, errands, to bid jobs etc. A bus load of Amish people came down to Phillips to the visitation for my Mom. The people that were working at Phillips at the time they came were in awe. They knew that they must've thought a lot of my parents in order to do that. Amish aren't very comfortable in a situation like that but the people at Phillips held the door open for them to come from the bus, and welcomed them. They are wonderful people.

They were helpful, compassionate and communicative. Losing a loved one unexpectedly is a deeply emotional and painful experience. We are incredibly appreciative to Phillip's for their engagement with us as a family and their care of our loved one after tragedy struck.

This is a review that I never wanted to write, but unfortunately, I feel that I must. It's with a…read moredark heart that my best friend died on New Years Eve. I've been friends with her for 20 years, and for as sudden as her death was, it doesn't make it any easier. We used to joke about this place. Hey, I live right down the road from the funeral home! Now, unfortunately, its the last step in me seeing her. The staff here was pleasant and helpful. I don't know what they charge but the facility is really nice on the inside. Beautiful sitting rooms, chapel area, kitchen area with food, and ample parking. My friend lived literally across the street on Liberty. Where she died. Nothing takes the place of my friend, but the place seemed to be nice. 5 stars for being classy, clean and professional in every way. When my grandma died, I know we used Lynch and Sons, but I wasn't in town for that. Thank you for being here. Thank you for being professional. But more importantly, I miss you Julie. You were my best friend, and I love you. My heat bleeds that your gone, and I will miss everything about you.

Lynch & Sons set the gold standard for how Funeral Directors should conduct their business. My dad has nothing but good things to say about their handling of his parents' funerals. They aren't necessarily the cheapest option, but if you are looking for integrity and respect during a tough time, they are the only real choice in my opinion.

She took the time to understand our situation and helped us secure a plot for my mom next to my grandpa, which means so much to our family for future peace of mind. Even though my mom is still with us, planning ahead was important, and Peggy handled everything with compassion and professionalism. We truly appreciate her guidance and support during this process. I highly recommend working with her.

This cemetery has gone down completely. I was there Saturday before Memorial Day and it was a…read morecomplete mess! Now when they cut the grass in certain sections they leave all that grass they mow out there and do not rake it up. I noticed it in baby land. Those are babies out there with headstone you have to dig to find them under all that grass. I don't know when they started getting so lazy with the lawn care. I am so disgusted with this cemetery now. Also, every year my veterans relatives NEVER have a flag. Every other veteran I saw out there had them but not my family members. I always have to ask for one. This year I ask for 2 to place in my veteran family member graves and was told they only have 1. I took one from outside the front of their office that was on display. I was told if I come back Sunday they will have more. My response was I am here today not tomorrow. If you can take your love ones elsewhere do so. This cemetery is garbage now! I am thinking about reaching out to the news station to show them the pictures I have with their crappy lawn care.
