In my personal experience, the service did not meet the level of care, communication, or professionalism I expected during such a difficult time. I felt pressured and spoken to in an aggressive tone, and I felt that my questions were not given clear explanations. I was told that my loved one's body could arrive in 2-3 days only if I used their services, but that it could take 2-4 weeks otherwise. When I chose not to proceed with them, I experienced more unprofessional behavior, including being hung up on and spoken to harshly. In my opinion, some of the communication felt like intimidation during a time when families are already grieving. There were also multiple phone calls made, and I felt that private details were shared without the family's consent. We specifically asked that nothing be made public until the family was ready to announce it, but that was not respected, which caused additional stress during an already painful time. Based on my experience, I feel this funeral home failed to provide the compassion and professionalism that families rely on. I hope they improve their staff training, communication, and sensitivity for future families who trust them during moments of grief."
