After our Messina tour, we wanted to have lunch so this spot was nearby and recommended. Also found out they have locations all over the world. Arrived around 12:30 on a Thursday and we sat outside. Empty inside but filled up by the time we were done. Good mix of menu options from salad, pasta, pizza, main entrees including burgers. . We started with the Ruoto di Bufalo- a good mix of fried veggies, Arancini, fried cheese and dough. All delicious except the fried dough was a bit bland and that was the biggest portion. For main, Spaghetti alla Nerano with fried Zucchini and cheese was tasty and enjoyed. Based on recommendation, also ordered pizza fritta-a monstrous calzone that is fried and filled with tasty buffalo ricotta and pork cracklings-enough for two. A Naples dish and they did it right. We finished with a couple of Macchiatos which hit the spot. Service was attentive and friendly. They have been ranked top 50 artisanal pizzerias in the world for the last 5 years. Best pizza ever!!! We got Lazzarella a Capri. The crust was like I have needed tasted before. Crunchy but airy at the same time. The toppings as fresh and it doesn't have sauce but it doesn't need it. Pasta was delicious as well. Service was good too! read more

Wow! We had the Ripieno calzone stuffed with ricotta, the Bufala Calabra, and the Pepe all were delicious. Each pizza is topped with a delicious little ball of mozzerella. Service is excellent. It was maybe 5 minutes tops between when we ordered and our pizzas were served. Highly recommend. read more

Its not hard to find good Italian food in Italy but this place was especially great. I had never had a frittatina before which is essentially a fried ball of pasta or another way to describe it would be a pasta fritter. It was amazing! The pizza was delicious as well. Such a beautiful and clean restaurant that has the most amazing pizza! We of course searched Yelp for a nearby pizza restaurant and Yelp came through again. We arrived early but they were too busy cleaning to seat us. They did allowed us to use their super clean restrooms before they opened . This places is so clean and beautiful inside and out. We chose to eat in and were their first customers, within a half hour the place was packed with locals. The pizza was wonderful, the salads fresh and delicious. The service was excellent and they did their best to speak to us in English, I think they enjoy practicing. I highly recommend this local pizza place. read more
