40-50% markup vs other beer stores and some, not all, of the beer is quite old (canned 1+ years earlier).

Everything from Colt 45 and Old English to Allagash 1012 Fluxus and gluten-free New Planet 4-packs. However, this is an incredibly dingy shop. It reeks of old beer, the floors are filthy and the staff are a frightening bunch. I get that the draw is the beer, and that perhaps ambience isn's everyone's top priority, but this place is just downright unpleasant. With the owner shouting from the front desk with a mouth full of food to the visible filth on the floors and the god awful, gag-inducing stench of the place, I would sooner run naked through Americana in Manhasset then come back to Frank's. The beer selection is pretty great, though. I do, however, wish that mix-a-six was an option and they had more Dogfish Head options. Prices are good, and they often have coupons. Beer / Soda Frank's has a fairly large selection of beers and soft drinks, but I just go there for the beers... They have all the usual suspects by the case, 12 pack and 6 pack but the bonus is the section where they have a large selection of hard to find brands and microbrews etc. They claim they have over 700 varieties - not too sure about that, but I also didn't spend the time to count them either. Other fun things are the availability of growlers and some tap beer selections to go. Ice and propane are also available if you need those things to make your back yard shindig complete. 5 year customer . I'm done - you should be too! Big sign on door - No mask - no entry ! No problem, you enter and the OWNER and none of kids at register wearing masks . I commented 4 times ( 2nd time I commented they all thought it was a big joke ) only to enter today AND AGAIN NO MASKS . So basically they are telling their customers , wear a mask to protect me , while I take YOUR money , but I don't give a rats ass about you , and myself and 90% of my staff are maskless ! Too many beer places in the area to put up with this ., ( another little tidbit - when we lost power for 6 days a few months back I went for ice too keep food in colors . I really do love Frank's, it's a block away from my place, so this is our go to beer spot. They carry such a big selection, from the local Long Island beer, the big names and the up-and-coming ipa's. read more

A decent selection, but "Largest Selection of Beer on Long Island" sign is not true. West Hempstead and Hicksville are better. One of the best is just a mile away at Glen Cove Beer distributors. They unfortunately don't allow 6 packs to be broken up. There was Double Trouble, an Double IPA, which was just released. Having a hoppy beer be fresh is the whole point of the beer... Oh wait, they left them on the shelves from a YEAR ago! Wow. read more

This place is great. They always have any beverage I want and ordering is so easy.. They deliver right to your house on time.. It's so convenient.. Also, everyone is helpful in the store. The guys carry the beverages to the counter and then put it right in my trunk. Where else are you going to get someone to carry your heavy beverages to your car?I find the easiest is to stock up and get the drinks delivered to my house. I always have drinks for the kids lunches or any company that comes over. I highly recommend getting all your beverages at Frank's.
