Unfortunately I can't remember her name, but I was having an anaphylactic allergic reaction to some crab I accidentally ate and one of the servers rushed to me with an epi-pen and injected it into my leg, on top of giving me benadryl. My dad was asking everyone if anyone had an epi-pen, and this lady did and after she administered it, she sat with me until the swelling in the throat went down. I just wanted to thank her. The wedding was very nice, they put you up in a tent behind the building and we lucked out with some great weather. Our meal was very good although they certainly were understaffed at least initially. My biggest complaint would be the hotel rooms. They are certainly serviceable and clean, but in dire need of some upgrades. We had dinner the night before the wedding and breakfast the morning after at their buffet that is an incredible let down compared to ordering food from the bar. Lackluster set up, mediocre food, and just a bit of a mess. I'd recommend grabbing a couple drinks on the deck and a bite to eat from the bartenders for the best experience. Open faced steak sandwich is delicious - had it on another occasion.

There is plenty of parking. Some decking style docks along river to stroll, a gazebo, a few shelters & picnic tables (no grills) there is a very nice bathroom facility near the oversized Children's fabulous playground with swings. Plenty of signage depicting the history with photos along with name plaques for the trees. Some beautiful wildflowers and wildlife including plenty of ducks with babies. Definitely a great little place to enjoy some fresh air. There is also a shaved ice truck and you can rent paddle bikes for the river. Several nice memorials including one of President JFK

There was only 3 of us but we made it out with over 20 minutes still on the clock. Mark, our game master, was unbelievably friendly and really helpful we when needed it as well. This room was really cool too because you start out with your group separated into two booths and you can see one another but can't hear each other and you have to figure out how to break out into the bigger room, I liked that different start. There were some other really fun, unique puzzles to solve that were really cool. Super fun room and overall experience, I'd 100% come back!
