Cherry Manor probably the most haunted building in downtown Franklin Tn.

Usually, I try to take the Grim and Ghostly tour each late summer or late fall because it is always so much fun! This time was no expectation! Our guide Nola was amazing so many stories and experiences from previous tours. On this tour we had a special guest, a gentleman who lived in the apartment building near Landmark Books. He shared his story of when he was once walking his dog around 3am he encountered the spirt of a revolutionary solider pacing inside the building, then came through a glass door without opening it! When their eyes met the soldier vanished right in front of him. The guides share the spooky stories and history of each stop so amazing I'm always learning something new! Each Saturday night in October there is a late-night tour of a building in Franklin. Two years ago, it was the Masonic Lodge which is 200 years old! Last year it was the Twine Building on the square and this year it's going to be Cherry Manor! Also, on the last Saturday night there is Tombstone Tales this is one night only, but Franklin Walking Tours has the most amazing group of reenactors telling the stories of Frankin's past The Grim and Ghostly tour runs year-round. If you're in the area this is something you should put on your to do list, you won't be disappointed!

Went on the ghost tour, had a ton of fun. Interesting stories and a few gave our group goosebumps! Great job overall. Didn't get any pictures of anything spooky but an accidental surprised selfie was the best I got.

We did the full "Historic Franklin Ghost Tour" with a business group as an after-dinner activity, and it was fantastic! Even though I've lived in Williamson County most of my life, I learned new history and feel more connected to my community. Our tour guide has an encyclopedic knowledge of the community, and know how to share it in the most fun, engaging way!

Solid black figure inside moving through door frame. This is a Live Photo hopefully it plays!

Always a pleasure touring with Alicia! This is the second time we have been on this tour and it was fabulous. And this time we caught something at Cherry Manor! I exciting!

If you only have time to do one tour in Franklin, Franklin Walking Tours IS the ONE!!! Alicia is knowledgeable AND personable at the same time! She's a lovely soul who, very clearly, loves Franklin. So much thought, research, and preparation goes into the tour that she's even debunked a couple of myths that are still being included in other tours. The research is current, the tour guide is lovely! Franklin Walking Tours for the WIN!!

Great hidden pocket park on our tour

This is not just a great tour for visitors. We learned so many cool stories about the buildings we drive past all the time. Alicia introduced us to many shop owners and artists along the way. A fantastic way to spend a morning with my daughter.

Lucky for us Experience Nashville Tours was scheduled to do one tour on Monday and we were able to confirm a spot on Sunday evening. We met our tour guide Kaysie along with a few other travelers and it was well spent couple hours. This lady is so high energy and enthusiastic that it really makes the tour a wonderful experience. You can tell she has a great passion for the artists and history of the town and she took us to several very interesting venues with lots of background stories. It was a fun couple hours and very affordable. I'd highly recommend booking a tour with Kaysie!

She has lived there for years and had never done this tour, which made it feel like a bit of a discovery for both of us. We ended up at the Lotz House Museum, and it turned out to be one of those unexpectedly memorable experiences. On this particular day, we lucked out with Chuck as our guide. He is a former high school history professor, and you can tell immediately. He does not just recite facts, he brings everything to life with stories, details, and just the right amount of drama. The house itself is not large, but that almost works in its favor. Between the stories of the Lotz family and the vivid accounts of the Battle of Franklin happening right outside, you can practically see it all unfolding as you move from room to room. It is the kind of experience that sticks with you long after you leave, and at around seventeen dollars, it feels like an absolute steal. And do not skip the gift shop. Treat yourself to a peach Nehi soda on your way out. It is unexpectedly fantastic, and I am still thinking about how to get my hands on more.
