I am on my third week of treatment for shoulder pain and am now sleeping through the night and only once in three weeks have I taken Ibuprophen. I saw chiropactors, acupuncturists, did yoga, stretching, and had little success. After getting treatment from Scott, my pain is gone...NO PAIN. It does not get better than that

From the beginning, she was compassionate, knowledgeable, and always willing to think outside the box to find treatments and exercises that would help me feel better and continue making progress. She took the time to listen, adjust my treatment based on how I was doing, and encouraged me every step of the way. Thanks to her care, I regained so much mobility and function in my shoulder and felt confident throughout the recovery process. I love the 1-on-1 time and not having to "share" as I had experienced in other places. The only chin scratcher for me didn't actually come from my PT Catrina, but from the owner who popped in (even though the door was closed--sometimes I need to lift my shirt to access certain spots on my back) with a student who was shadowing. I got no heads up, and I wasn't asked if it was ok that she observer my session. I would have happily said yes, but I was more concerned that I wasn't even asked. Unfortunately, my insurance changed, and I was no longer able to continue therapy with her, which genuinely made me sad because I felt I was in such good hands. I highly recommend Catrina to anyone looking for a physical therapist who truly cares about her patients and is committed to helping them succeed.

When the doctor shares his suggested plan, you're then asked to put money up front so you can receive a discount. DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY IN ADVANCE. At the time I saw him, I reached my dedectible for 2015 and my insurance would pick up all of the costs. He still tried to convince me to give him $2000 since that was my deductible for 2016. I kept a record of all of my treatments and type of adjustments since I have a chronic illness. I had a total of 14 treatments. Only 3 of the insurance claims were correct. I was overcharged for the rest. When I asked about this the first two times, I was not given a clear answer by the doctor or by the front office. Upon the 3rd try, I informed the doctor I would no longer be a patient of his. There are many other issues with this facility but I will not get into any further detail. It's your decision...

I needed help to get up and get to a chiropractor who helped get things moving again and somewhat reduce the pain to where I could at least hobble or use a wheel chair on my own, but after a month the pain had not gone away. I was told to see my primary care doctor who took some X-rays and told me there was nothing they could do, that I had a degenerative condition that would only get worse and all they could do is put me on pain medication. That medication actually doubled my pain though and so I quit taking it after a week. Then I found Patrick at Fastback Physical Therapy. Within 15 minutes of a free examination Patrick assessed the issue, came up with a treatment plan and declared he could fix it within 6 weeks without drugs or surgery. I was pretty skeptical, but he was dead on. Six weeks later my pain was complete gone with no drugs and no surgery. My range of motion was restored and I was back to hiking in the woods for miles and miles with my family again completely pain free. Incredible. There is a saying that goes something like, 'Any technology sufficiently advanced will appear to be magic to those who have never experienced it'. Truth be told, Patrick and his team understand and apply the science of motion and how the body's ability to heal itself works at a level much higher than any other Doctor that I saw, but to me it just felt like magic. I have sent at least five other friends and family members to Fastback since. Thank you FastBack PT!

It wasn't…read morean easy transition as the home health aids often called in the middle of the night, weren't always helpful in managing her medicine and didn't seem to have much training. Some did try to be helpful, but overall the number of people coming to her home made it hard to create a good relationship and provide good care. We put a lot of controls in place and care seemed to get somewhat better, even with problems of workers showing up late etc. However, we discovered that our grandmother's safe had been tampered with and was broken. The locksmith said it appeared someone tried to use a tool to open the safe. We then discovered that several priceless jewelry items were also stolen that we will never be able to replace. When asking the worker to go home, she shared that she had not been paid properly in recent weeks, which just shows the further carelessness of this company. Other individuals who worked for the key shared they were required to sign paperwork to have a background check and drug screen, but that neither actually occurred. Therefore, it is likely that these individuals who are supposed to be trusted with the care of ailing family members do not even go through a basic background check. In the months since, we have called to determine how to resolve the issue with the company. We have received no real answers and are given insufficient information. While most people who will employ this company will not encounter something so horrible as someone stealing from a dying woman, there are still major issues with the company's business practices. Please do not use this company. Seek out a licensed and bonded company who has a BBB approval rating and remove items from the home that are valuable.
