There is a walking or running oval (7 laps=1 mile) so on icy or rainy days I can pick that over a treadmill. Their cardio equipment is all new with video screens for watching shows or movies or instructor led bike/running options. I've been seeing one of their personal trainers for several sessions. Penny is great, challenges me without pushing me too far. My experience with all staff has been good, as well as very clean facility. Rarely have I seen equipment not working, and if I did ever see it, it was a few days at most until fixed. Many other big gyms I'd see equipment noted as broken for weeks on end. They do not require masks, although anyone who wants to can wear one.

First the website can be a bit weird and if you are getting day passes and it keeps saying its 'timing out' you need to make a Plainfield recs account first and it stops being weird. On my visit i purchased tickets/admission on the website because i could not tell if i could get in on location or not. Once we got thru the check in process we went to see the indoor pools first.... Well they were closed. OK... Went outside and its pretty expansive and clean. One of the non-tube slides was down as well as looks like 1/3rd of the exterior swimming items were down for what looked like cleaning since i saw staff working on it. From the maps view basically the huge lazy river side. As a non-resident the pricing i feel was a good value for goofing off in the water for roughly 3 hours. Onsite food isn't anything to rave about but at least it is available and it was not crazy prices. Tons of life guards doing an awesome job from what i could tell while watching the people watching the rest of us so i felt super safe and confortable they were keeping an eye on all the kids. I didnt grab any photos because i dont really like publishing anything with people in it. You will be pleastly surprised with what is in the water park area let alone the other things you can do here. I am sure i will be back again and again.

She had brochures and everything! Yes I'm convinced they don't want US! Yes Us here! Stay Woke!

We went during the holidays to walk through their lighted trail and found it enchanting. It isn't a long path but lots of fun with arches, reindeer, Santa's and more. The lights extended through the whole common area and were a delight! We also went inside for a bit and saw some great displays. The fitness area was busy but there were many spaces for people to sit or have kids play while waiting on others. This is a great aspect of the community and we are so thankful for their commitment to providing concerts, activities and other community activities.

I was in town visiting family still in the Greenwood area and didn't think I'd be able to find any gym nearby with good bags to train on. I'm coming from the old Fairtex camps out of NorCal and was happy to see they had a Fairtex banana bag and similar heavy bags setup to hit on. They even had 3 separate speed bag stations (for varying heights) with the smaller, quicker speed bags which are great to use. Kru Ian was very hospitable. Took time to even chat it up a bit on top of giving pointer (and reminder!) on my "lazy" teep! If you want to get in shape and learn 1 of the best martial arts for self-defense and/or be a competitive fighter, Muay Thai with a supplemental foundation in Western Boxing is where it's at IMHO. You are NEVER too old. I'm 52 and even new members I meet think I'm in my 30s. Kru Ian is in his mid-40s and could easily pass for 30! Thank you Sir. How I heard about Cornerstone fitness was from a Facebook ad... Well that day when I came across that ad I made the phone call, then within a couple of hours I met up with Paul the owner and signed up that day! Not gonna lie I was very skeptical at first thinking that it was a waste of my time and money but here I am invested almost 2 years into Cornerstone fitness and I have lost 75 pounds, I am stronger then ever and my mental health is so much better than it was before! Two years ago I was a stay at home mom taking care of my three children with really bad mental health like depression and anxiety! Making the phone call and alternating my life out of my comfort zone has been the best decision I've ever made for my mental health, my physical health, my children and over all my life! #Bestdecision #zeroregrets
