I see that the Google reviews are all five stars, seems weird, and on here there are several one…read morestars. My experience was more mixed and this is an honest review. Itamar Levy does do all the onboarding and is super charming, then you will more than likely get kicked to someone else. Mike Barrows is who I got and is a good guy, definitely smart and competent, like him a lot, all business but that's cool, I don't think your divorce lawyer should be your therapist. I did feel supported and like the firm was on my side. Communication was rough though. Sometimes super fast, often had to send several emails and messages over days to get any response. Getting a paralegal to respond almost impossible. Often repeatedly asked the same question and nothing. I understand these firms have lots of clients, and its all stressful, but can't say I feel or felt like a priority. Once the agreement was finalized I got kicked to someone else to deal with a property transfer and here the nightmare is ongoing. I've repeatedly asked for clarity and get one liners. I'm still in limbo, being billed, and it feels like no one is focusing or interested in helping. So, a super decent and competent firm, but I don't feel I've been supported all the way. That said, there is much much worse out there and this is a good choice.

Well I will start by saying this, If you live in Westchester don't hire this firm because they…read morecannot work on your behalf, and if they primos you they can its a lie. Communication with this firm is horrible and there is no follow up. They charge you a ton of money and don't produce any results. Diana Szabo is just worthless she never called, the only thing she does was to send you a long email and a very expensive Invoice. I paid this firm About $8K + with no results just a waist of money and time they are really scammers and should not operate in Westchester county. I felt that Diana is very very much racist because they why my case was handled by her experience left me speechless. Levy, Is the person that will call you and perform the nice talking and fill up your head with a bunch off promises and when you notice that the service is horrible he will never call you back to see what happened or in what his firm can help you with to fixed the problem. He or his firm showed no remorse and didn't care, but a lesson learned. This firm will perform work on your behalf without letting you know what they doing, and then charge your retainer balance and send you a bigger Invoice bill and demanding payment. The Lawyer Diana will not represent you for your court hearing either she will send you a email 1-2 hours before your court hearing and let you know that she will not represent you and sent a per diem Lawyer to represent you and they don't know nothing about your case, once completed they send you a invoice for $1750 for that per diem that didn't know anything about your case. PLEASE IF YOU LIVE IN WESTCHESTER DON'T HIRE THIS FIRM, THEY DON'T HAVE A OFFICE IN WESTCHESTER AND THEY ARE A BIG SCAM WAIST OF MONEY AND TIME. They don't value their customers and I felt completely discriminated by Diana and her team. STAY AWAY from Them.

Genevieve clearly always had my best interests in mind throughout my divorce negotiations, and she was also very sensitive to the emotional aspects that arose. I was also very impressed that Galit continued to carve out time with me to discuss any issues I might have experienced, and to ensure I was satisfied with the service.

I strongly recommend against utilizing this law firm. I cannot in good faith recommend this law…read morefirm due to very poor service and excessive charging of said poor service. The attorney Steven Cohen disappeared from my case halfway through the process, and both Steven Cohen and attorney Allison Ramelson-Kert gave poor advice that nearly prevented me from achieving my goal in court. It was very disappointing to have Cohen and Ramelson-Kert offer no support to perform the final important services to help achieve my goal. Additionally, their billing department, specifically Keysy Gordon, is excruciatingly slow to respond and sends incomplete invoices. The experience with this law firm during an incredibly painful and traumatic time period only added to the pain. The value in this law firm is simply awful. Please stay away from this law firm. Save yourself further pain and wasted money during what is likely a trying time in your life.

I hired Joshua to represent me in both a custody matter and a related child support matter, and…read morelooking back on the entire experience, I am genuinely glad that I chose him. From the very beginning, Joshua was honest with me. I came into this process knowing what I wanted, and instead of making promises just to make me feel good, he explained the law, told me what was realistic, and was upfront about what would be difficult to achieve. At the same time, I never felt like he dismissed what I wanted. He advocated for me while also helping me understand when we needed to approach something differently or find another way to protect my son and me. Communication was another thing I appreciated. Joshua gave me his direct number and was very responsive. There were times he answered or called me back even while spending time with his own family, which showed me that he genuinely cared about what was happening with my case. He always treated me with respect, reassured me when I needed it, and took my concerns seriously while still giving me honest legal counsel about what was reasonable. Because I had never gone through anything like this before, I also appreciated that after court he would explain what had actually happened and put the outcome into perspective for me. There were moments when I didn't necessarily realize how well something had gone until Joshua explained why it was significant. What stood out to me most was that he wasn't just interested in getting the case over with. When an initial child support amount came back much lower than he believed was appropriate based on the circumstances, he was honest that we shouldn't simply consider it a win and move on. He encouraged me to obtain additional information so that we could continue advocating for a fairer result. I didn't get absolutely everything I originally asked for, but Joshua was very clear from the beginning that he couldn't promise that. What he did promise was that he would do his best to get what he reasonably could and make sure I was protected in the areas where compromise was necessary. I believe he did exactly that. Beyond being a good attorney, Joshua has a personality. We laughed, developed our own little inside jokes, and built a relationship throughout what was otherwise a very stressful process. He also worked with me financially, which I greatly appreciated. Hopefully I won't need another family law attorney anytime soon, but if I did, I would hire Joshua again. I walked away feeling that he worked hard for my son and me, kept me grounded in reality, and made sure my voice was heard throughout the process. I am grateful I chose him to represent me.

I explained that I've been involved in litigation for a long time and that I've been representing myself in my child support case, but I'm now at the point where I need professional help because I can't continue doing this on my own or pretend to know everything I'm doing. Despite that, he managed to insult and patronize me. When people seek legal counsel, it's because they are looking for professionalism and guidance--not a lecture about how little they know about the law. For anyone already dealing with the stress and financial burden of court proceedings, hiring someone who is insensitive and obnoxious would only make the situation worse. To make matters even more surprising, this was all in the context of requesting a $10,000 retainer, which was truly mind-blowing given the way he conducted himself.
