This has to be one of the best, if not the best farmers market I've ever been to…read more I felt as if I were on the scene of Robin Hood walking into Sherwood Forest. Soft guitar music playing while all the beautiful foliage surrounds all the various kiosks. Like something out of Pinterest. I feel like the photos don't do the actual experience justice. Overall, I thought the stalls were decently priced and we bought a lot of items ranging from fresh beets, garlic, mixed greens, to fresh cheese, and mushrooms. Apart from food and produce they sell yarn that comes from the wool of local sheep. I saw a distillery stall where they were handing out samples - it had quite the line. A stall that sold dry teas and infused syrups (I bought one actually) Maple syrup, soaps, I could go on. There's a booth for those who use Hip and apparently from $10 you get $30 to spend so it's a place where even those on a low budget can come and take advantage. Then there's the food which, you should definitely try. It was our first time trying food from Afghanistan and it was incredible. They were like these dumplings filled with either meat or squash, we chose the squash, and then it had lentils on top and a rich yogurt sauce that was absolutely phenomenal. I mean, honestly, it was a great experience, and the place itself is so beautiful, it's no wonder that there's lines of cars parked and others waiting to find parking. That's the only drawback, finding parking is gonna be rough, but when you do, ohhh the goodies that await you! I honestly wish I lived here, I'd be at this farmers market every Saturday.

We love a good winter farmers market! Lots of parking outdoors, warm indoors. Mix of veggies, meat…read moreand bread shops. They also have a couple vendors serving hot food. We loved the bread at Orchard Hill Breadworks. Most vendors accept Venmo or card. But the organizers have a clip board / token system that allows you to pay by card. Very affordable! High quality produce!

Staff was very friendly and guy running train rides/cow rides was willing to go at anytime. Cannon gun was also great way to end the fun but they had so much to offer and was chasing my little man around cause he loved it wanted to do everything. I'll definitely recommend and be going back as a tradition every fall.

Every time I pass by Gaines Farm I stop and buy a dozen of their farm fresh egg. This farm located…read morein Guilford VT is a gem hidden on Rt. 5. The property is situated a bit past the Massachusetts border and it is easily spotted by the large red barns. This farm not only sells fresh items such as eggs, meats, and maple syrup, but they sell other items such as hay bails. This farm houses a dog kennel which accepts dogs of all sizes, and they also raises and sells Golden Retrievers. The other reason that this farm is so incredible is that during the fall they host multiple events. They have a corn maze and petting zoo for the children during the day, and more mature events during the evening and night. These events include a haunted hayride as well as haunted corn maze.
