Visited the most famous and known ice cream truck in vegas "Frankie's ice cream truck " as a local in vegas and it lived up to the expectations people were so nice and welcoming and always positive attitude, always having events and helping out the community !

The staff were nice and informative as we couldn't decide which items to order. There were a lot of sweets and savory choices. We ended up getting Tostilocos :) it was good, portion size was enough. My friend went back to get the hot fudge, which she always gets now everytime we see Frankie's lol.

The best ice cream truck I've ever been to. They have so many great options from hot dogs to milkshakes. I love the candy options they have available. The ice cream choices are abundant, anything to satisfy your needs. I had the mangoneada which was so good and tasty. The banana split my cousin chose was delicious. The fruity pebble milkshake is great!!! Anything you get here will satisfy your taste buds. Good luck and try something new!!

Inside is a casual atmosphere, very spacious with ample seating, and good salsa music playing on TV. I was listening to Marc Anthony "Vivir Mi Vida," a great song! Menu offers a nice selection of sandwich, side dish, lunch and dinner specials. I chose light and ordered a salad ($3.50) and fried plantains ($4). The salad usually comes with avocado, but they were out. Instead, it had a good serving of sliced cucumbers and onions on top of fresh, juicy ripe tomatoes with housemade dressing made of olive oil, and garlic sauce that contains onion. If you mix the garlic sauce with cucumbers and tomatoes, it's very tasty! Fried plantains are delicious! They are sliced and nicely deep-fried, with a wonderful slight crunch and a lovely sweetness, so good I would order them again. I tried Guava and Cheese Pastelito (oriental, $3). The pastry is very light, crispy, flaky, with a small filling of guava paste and cream cheese inside. It's nice that the pastry was placed in a big container because it is very messy to eat. Just one bite created flaky layers shattering into crumbs. Surprisingly, the pastry crumbs even add a nice crunch when paired with sweet fried plantains, it's really good! For refreshments, they have sugar cane juice, milkshakes, coffee, and tea. I asked if they can make juice with cucumber and lime, and I appreciate they were accommodating. I requested unsweetened cucumber lime juice (16 oz, $6), so yummy, delightful, and super refreshing! I also purchased a set of macarons ($4) in six flavors: strawberry, vanilla, lemon, chocolate, pistachio, and caramel. Unfortunately, these were disappointing, the macarons were hard and inedible. I'm not sure if they were sourced from another vendor, but I would not order macarons from here. They do have other pastries worth a try! Service from Yelisa is very kind, welcoming, helpful, and friendly!

Once we decided what to order then we ordered at the counter and picked where we wanted to sit. When our order was ready they brought it to our table. I had the Cuban sandwich that was big (I could only eat half there) and it came with crispy plantain chips. My spouse ordered the pork sandwich that also came with crispy plantain chips. Each sandwich was full of flavor and yummy. We also ordered three tostones and they were big and crispy! This was such a filling lunch! The staff were are very nice.
