My husband and I worked with Madelyn at Music City Law to update our estate plans. Madelyn…read morecontinues to be responsive via email and was patient with us and all of our questions throughout. Start to finish I want to say it was 3-4 weeks including renaming an out-of-state deed in addition to our properties in Tennessee. The first step is a consultation which took us maybe 45-min. We were given a questionnaire via email before that appointment so we were prepared. At our consultation we set a time to meet to sign documents approximately 3-weeks later. Amazing turnaround time! We paid for a portion of the amount due when we decided to proceed and paid the remainder at the second meeting. We received an emailed copy of our documents to review a week or so before signing and I found that helpful. Understand every word and don't be embarrassed to discuss sensitive issues/concerns. Madelyn had to explain to me a few legal terms used that I didn't quite understand and we discussed ways to avoid conflict when this estate is used. After signing documents you'll be given a folder with a checklist of tasks to complete the estate. It's straightforward and Madelyn continued to clarify any issues we stumbled upon. We did start to receive deeds in the mail within a few weeks in addition to scam that looked pretty legit but Madelyn helped us see through that. The office is easy to get to on 96 just East of Carothers and there's plenty of parking. We'll meet with MCL again every few years to keep things updated. It feels great knowing we've done all we can to help make things go smoothly.

Justin's been pretty good and solid but he's lost his patience with me. In regards to filling out…read moretax forms, he just charged me $300 for 55 letters and numbers. I think I will be looking for another attorney after all. He's in cahoots with my brother who is a recipient of the trust and not the executor of the trust. I don't think that's legal. And charging me $300 for that. My mother would be ashamed of you. Justin!

My husband and I finally bit the bullet and set up a trust and associated documents. John and…read moreAshley couldn't have made it easier. The package price was very reasonable, as well. Estate planning is a complicated matter, and very emotional; we had to think beyond our current situation to all of the what-ifs. They made it as easy as it can possibly be, walking us through the decisions and what we needed to think through. When it came time to make edits and answer questions, they were ready with clear answers. We walked out with a binder on signing day, now relieved that our affairs are in order, we know how to manage changes, and we know the hassle each other and our loved ones will avoid because of the planning we did now. We highly recommend their team. And it doesn't hurt that the office is beautiful and full of great art!

When dealing with the turnover of your entire life's assets and/or savings, this is paramount because it established trust between the client and the attorney. This means, he understands the importance of the link between client and attorneys. He understands the weight of dealing with the things that people have worked their entire lives to establish and manage. I cannot thank Kyle enough for the work he's done and for the extra time he's spent simply conversating with me and my wife about business and even personal things since money and life are often intertwined. I would heavily recommend anyone wanting to handle affairs with their estate to contact Crowe Estate Planning and Probate.

Ms. Jackson was originally very helpful in setting up a conservatorship. However, once my father…read morepassed away and it was time to do the final filings, she was completely absent. For a year Ms. Jackson and her staff would claim that the filing was almost done they just needed "one last thing" from me. I would provide the requested documents (sometimes having to take time off work to do so) and then wouldn't hear from her for weeks; when I would have to send multiple emails only to get a response asking for "one more thing". So I'd have take time off work to go get bank records, then she'd say she needed something else and I would have to take off work again to go back to the bank again. And to be clear - these requests were for documents that presumably would have been required all the previous times she said the filing was ready. After half a dozen rounds of this back and forth, Ms. Jackson finally said she had everything and the filing would be complete in 10 business days. Three and a half weeks later and not only is the filing still incomplete, Ms. Jackson hasn't even had the courtesy to answer follow-up emails asking for a status update.

My mom retained April several weeks ago, and since retaining her, she's not provided any updated information regarding where we are in the process OR returned the several phone calls and messages made to her. Although we know our family isn't the only clientele this office is providing services to, we do expect the bare minimum of a returned phone call. After waiting a week for a returned call, I called the office to speak with April Jackson and she was unavailable. Additionally, it was suggested that I could schedule a consultation with her for the following week. The consultation was already held, an hour long detailed conversation had, and a 300 dollar retainer paid, and my family can't get a returned phone call, from April Jackson, for a 5 minute update about what's going on. Hopefully, we will get a returned call with any updated information soon. Update: Although our family as yet to receive a returned call or message from April, she took the time to respond to my Google review. Still awaiting a call back, April. We've called as recently as today, at 2:11 pm, not including the multiple times we attempted to make contact with her, last week. We were told she was unavailable, but she sure had the time to respond publicly, via Google. My review is legitimate, and the lack of care speaks volumes. To anyone attempting to get family affairs in order, on behalf of their loved ones, I highly recommend looking elsewhere.
