I am a little late writing this because Dr. Malin retired at the end of June, 2012, but I had to express my profound appreciation for the care he has provided me over the past 7 years. In 2007, he diagnosed me with coronary artery disease and his specialty as a cardiologist was a perfect fit. Luckily for me, he is the only caridologist I know who accepts patients as their primary care family physician. Since then, his care and expertise has enabled me to largely reverse my heart disease and I have been almost free of the angina, or chest pains that I used to constantly suffer with years ago. He is truly a caring, attentive doctor who has gone the extra mile to attend to my medical needs. I will truly miss having him as my primary care physician. I write this in hopes that he will one day return to practice once he has rested and enjoyed retirement enough to come back. I, like perhaps most of his patients miss his professional care as I seek a new PCP.
One reviewer commented that the front office was a bit harried. It is true that the staff is usually very busy because the front office serves 5-6 doctors, and it is common to be put on hold when you call. However, the two women at the front desk have always managed to respond to my requests and have often been able to fit me into the doctor's schedule on short notice if needed. Dr. Malin has been excellent about providing me with documentation required by my employer. He is also excellent about sending me copies of all my lab reports. He is truly a down to earth, no-nonsense doctor that will be missed with his retirement. read more
